Maybe a dashed line might serve you better? Anything with increase accuracy is better, though.
Looks pretty accurate. I haven't done much Glacier post-change, but TEs in the three nations don't seem to wander much (I think there's one in Bastok that moves up and down a ramp, but that's about it if I'm remembering correctly), and I think Xarc's are completely stationary until aggro'd.
I'll stick with this I guess.

I think the only think that's not completely accurate is that TE-1 is only shown in one place; can't think of a better way to do that though. Nice work!
Thanks for the work Xera, nice map.
As an addendum, where do you guys fight the popped NM's in Dyna-Jeuno? Are people just camping in front of the palace and saccing the Odious NM's? Seems that there isn't enough space in back of the palace.
You can't pull any NM in Dynamis very far from their spawn point, in my experience, or you lose confrontation status. I'm not sure you can even bring them up to the front.
What we've done in some of the other zones is split our party. So if we have four DDs, two continue killing the VT monsters that spawn and two kill the NM. It can get a little hectic, but the fights are too long for Sleepga + wait it out to be a real option.
Losing the confrontation status is brutal. We lost an Angra Mainyu pop (not a big deal, I know), by trying to use the old strategy of being on top of the hill
On the plus side, I've found farming TEs is very easy in any city solo as a BLM. With the Magian Ice Staff you can one shot the statue with Blizz V without much effort. If anything does link, just toss a Sleepga II and log out.
This can backfire and Sandy due to Orcish Troopers having the Resist Sleep trait, but you can nuke all the statues without the Orcs even having a chance to see you if you're patient.
Apologies if this has been answered before, couldn't find an answer using search or either wiki; possibly I'm blind, but hum hum.
Is Arch Dyna Lord resistant to Souleater?
Got animated knuckles to 3%
then "The monster fades before your eyes, a look of disappointment on its face."
killed 2nd time. seems defender full time is a hindrance to killing shit.
Will be doing an Arch DL run soon, and just wanted to confirm...I know DL spawns multiple copies but only ONE of them is real? And there is no way to tell which one is real besides killing everything in sight and hoping you have the right one? Or is the original one, which you are forced to disengage from when he summons, the real one?
Did a run of Arch DL last night, and people chose the wrong mob when it cloned so we ended up wiping. Any tips to deal with the cloning? Friend from another LS told me just have to eyeball it and try to re-engage on the original mob, but would love to hear other testimonials.
My impression is that the "real" Arch DL is randomized among the spawns, so you can't try and track the "cloned" monster. Someone earlier in this thread said that if you engage the one with the same monster ID, there's no guarantee that's the "real" one.
Ugh, that's terrible if true. Some people have reported him cloning multiple times. Last night, a friend from another shell reported they had 4 Arch DL's up at one point, and it was impossible to keep up with the AOE after PD wore.
In our fight, we just had 2 Arch DL. It was hard to get all the melee to stay on one mob, so we ended up bringing one of them down to 1% and the other to 40% before wiping.
There are 8 Arch DLs in the .dats, which probably means it's possible to have 8 up at once. I know it's 2005ish of me, but I'd recommend setting a main assist and having people spam a macro when he splits. Focus on one, knock it out, do the other.
We've had up to 4 up at once, with another dead. We didn't win that run.
This
It is possible to kill 2 clones and the real but this involves a lot of luck/manpower (aka how many War with Ukko's Fury), mainly because of Tera Slash V2 and the random time ADL takes before his next summoning (40 seconds to 1 min, the first always occurs at 60%~)
ADL (and DL also) has 2 forms of Oblivion Smash and Tera Slash. High HP they only produce some serious damage. Under around 50% it can jump into the air (like a Drg), Oblivion Smash adds many debuffs/dispel (similar to Bad Breath but PD make you immune to this) and Tera Slash become a conal Death attack.
- uses the ??? to lock your buffs (F8 for target)
- Perfect Defense after pop
- Spread yourself over ADL with a wall behind
- Try to save your TP when the summoning animation occurs (invincible)
- Assist on the same ADL when they are 2
- CS stun it to prevent Tera Slash "V2", no more than one person should be in front of ADL
The other ADL will not spam his TP moves if nobody is attacking it. In fact DL/ADL don't have a particular high regain but they TP moves everytime they reach 100 TP (similar to Ovni or any mob already under <25%)
With EA/scherzo you can easily survive to Oblivion Smash or Dynamic Assault if Perfect Defense wear off but Tera Slash is still a threat without stun.
Btw ADL has acces to tier aga IV <50% and do not 2h at all. Only the real can summon. Clones will pop with the same amount of hp (so if the real ADL is at 55% and you down a clone to 20%, the real ADL can bring it back at 55%~ after the next summoning). It has 100k hp (20k more than DL with the same weak defense)
