Stupid question about Arch Dynamis Lord, as I've never fought it.

Do the Clones Share hate with the master?

What i'm getting at is, Could you diaga the clones when they pop, and have the 2 Fakes, which would have 0 hate, run after the Diaga-er (Because they would theoretically have 0 hate on the people fighting since it just spawned), and the real one (The one with built hate toward DD throughout the fight) would stay back and continue to wail on the DD?

I mean in most "Clone" Type fights the Clones don't share hate and can be diaga'd away... Or do they all despawn and completely reset hate? I'm sorry

The original Arch DL despawns and two new Arch DLs spawn in its place.

As for hate, I'm not sure what happens. We've had a PLD throw all of his hate tools on one of the new Arch DLs and had it ignore him whilst it decimated the support characters.

Are the clones individual names in the mob dat list? I'm surprised to see no mention of 'name this one "WilltherealArchDL PlzStandUp" to win'.

Unless SE learned from their mistakes and made it randomly choose one of them so that method doesn't work.




Trying to get my LS to set a date for 'im as we got 2 pops ready, but the cloning business doesn't sound too hot even with multiple emps going at it. I'm taking it Earthern/Scherzo combo doesn't help much either when PD hits 50% point?

We don't cheat and change dats or stuff like that so dunno if you can pick the right one that way. But we've killed it picking the right one and the rest poof, and also killed it after picking wrong one before and killing the 2nd copy before it cloned. We've gotten the nq version of sagasinger, never gotten saga itself.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which is the 'true' Arch DL post-cloning. There are several (8?) Arch DLs in the .dats, and which is required to be killed to clear the battle seems to vary each pop.

This discussion was had earlier in this thread; I'm repeating what I remember from that.

Sorry if it’s already been discussed, can the Attestation NMs be proc’d? If so does anyone know how to proc the Smn/Bst/Drg one?

Killed 7 times for Att. of bravery (which still hasn’t dropped /fume) and no procs on any JAs, WSs or Magics.

I figured they don’t proc but thought I’d ask.

I've never seen them proced, and I've fought ... 15+? (3 different relic upgrade sets)

I dunno if it happens every time, but last night when we popped Arch DL, he started off with chainspell-style casting of at least three -aga III spells in a row and had most of our alliance down to orange HP before we were able to get Perfect Defense up. I don't know if he actually used Chainspell, too much log spam. People actually started dying from the small amount of damage that gets through PD, so we wound up wiping after the first split with one around 40% and the other around 30%. Might be prudent to Astral and get Perfect Defense up and then pop. Would waste a few seconds of PD, but I think it's better than losing because of something dumb like that.

Support Job Restrictions

Players will have the option to enable or disable support job restrictions upon entering Dynamis.
Certain items required to enhance relic and relic +1 equipment will only drop if support job restrictions are enabled.
Support job restrictions may be disabled at any time by investigating the "Somnial Threshold."
*Support job restrictions cannot be enabled in this way.

Yah, Relic +2 has been a topic of Discussion on the Official forums for a while now, even a vote on rather we want it Static upgrades (With "Less impressive" stats) or Random upgrades with better stats.

Can anyone tell me pls how to pop the glacier zone boss, i need it for my brother, i tried cheeking wiki and it saids about gething 5 tomes but when i cheek it seems thats how you do the arch boss and i want normal one, also see you can pop whit a rare/ex item but its in red and dont say how you can get it, also if i get this item can i save it to reenter the next day? trying to figure if i can farm it solo/duo and come next day whit help to kill boss straigh.

The pop item for the regular boss drops off any NM in the zone, fairly high drop rate too.

I fought him and failed a few times, one of the keys to fighting him IMO is to make sure you've got a way to deal a lot damage fast in the times in between when he warps, and also using poison pots helps, has he likes to use sleepga, sleepga will screw you because he can do a nasty ga spell which will annhilate you while you're asleep.

Does the Relic Shield still drop of regular mobs in dyna jeuno? Also do you have to have done all TEs in order to get drop?
