hey, not sure if you were able to verify the scout's belt yet. Unfortunately I dont have logs of it, but over the course of 4 days, friend and I were specifically going to Dyna-Qufim for his scout's belt. It wouldn't drop, but FINALLY it did and it was from the Nightmare Roc's. Hope that helps.

Killed Arch Christelle, but no drops. Uses the same moves the NQ one does, but far more powerful, even after using the items to weaken it(if they even work). Did it with MNK MNK SAM THF RNG RDM WHM, just make sure you have someone stunning EEB, as charm doesn't really last long and it's easy to kite. Has a lot of HP and defense obviously.

Did the Lost Nant'ina before, drops Moepapa medal. That leaves only the 2 rings and Moepapa Pendant as drops for Arch Christelle. This mob follows a pattern, Blow x3 > Uppercut x3 > Charm. Hits VERY hard, 1k in PDT gear with Uppercut in general, but I also got one shotted once by a 1.7k Uppercut in PDT-50%. Also assume it's a MNK, as it countered several attacks and we hit for 0 at times, which would be his Guard then.

I'm having some really terrible luck trying to find a dynamis group. I honestly don't want to resort to shouting in Port Jeuno. Ugh.

Not many groups survive that used to only do Dynamis ^^; My LS is one, but we only go 2x a week and have maybe a dozen people. The 2 main days we go for boss runs, NMs, etc, other days people usually just solo/duo for currency. We made 4 relics before they changed Dynamis, 1 person paid for runs and kept all the currency, but that won't work anymore ^^;

I'd say if you want a group, make one. Get a few friends and have them invite a few friends, pretty much even the hardest NMs only take 1-2 parties, the more Empys you have the fewer you'd need, especially if some of you have mules.

I have no mules, and as well, no empyreans.

...I also don't have an effective way to solo/duo unless I got a kannagi, I guess? Or just decked out NIN, which I haven't gotten around to doing...

Now all I need is a WHM/RDM that would want to accompany me in the runs.

Are you being sarcastic? Your gear is way better than mine and I solo on a thf with only evasion merits. I used to go thf/nin but nothing can hit me even with my crap gear since it's all easy prey anyway. The drain samba from the dnc/00 I duo with is enough to keep me full hp. With no white procs I can net 170-190 singles, 7-8 -1 AF and 4-5 belts if I don't have any issues getting TEs.

Anyone have monster recommendations for Valk? I tried to go on an AE spampage there last night and kind of got my ass handed to me. Upside is, I updated some of the Nightmare monster pages.

Here are the issues as I saw them:
* Flytraps are badass and take half wind damage.
* Flies are badass with Cursed Sphere spam even with Barwatera (400 damage, but they hit like pussies otherwise).
* Cactaurs are badass.
* Manticores take half wind damage.
* Hippogryphs are badass and take half wind damage.
* Funguars have an NM in them.
* Goobbues are badass and have an NM in them.
* Treants have an NM in them.
* Sheep are lolcakes and there are an absolute ton of them, but they don't drop Etoile Capes.

Fungaur's/Gobbue/Hippo+Orc's is what we did yesterday.

Kill the Gobbue NM, camp behind it. NM wont repop for 20 min. Gobbue either take enhanced wind damage or are weak to piercing, AE was doing 450+ from my lolNIN. They also have shit accuracy, even though they hit like trucks.

I do Gobbuues and Funguars, and do JA proc on Gobbuues after Funguars on DNC. Gobbs don't have very good accuracy; and their TP moves are lol. Funguars little more tricky, but OK. Cant remember what I got DNC off, its prob in this thread somewhere, but Hippos such to AE burn, but I need a new tactic or job combo cuz Im getting more via JA proc than WS atm.

I personally have not been a fan of mass pulling/ws proc. I've consistently pulled more currency doing JA proc and had an easier time getting that !! and moving on than with WS. Sometimes WS procs 5 at once, and sometimes you're sitting there wasting your time. I pull ~225 now with JA, I've yet to break 150 with WS.

So NQ Goobbues can't use Attractant? Etoile Cape is a Byne-mob drop, so you got it off Funguars. I'll give that a shot today.

Flies would be absolutely awesome if it wasn't for Cursed Sphere.

Well, as far as THF/NIN, I can survive pretty well, but for AoE's that go through shadows, I'm fucked. So going in solo is not a great idea, I would say, since I would waste too much time going off to heal for a while and then continuing.

We do JA proc mobs as well, pulled 220 last night. Elfs,Scorps,Birds in Bubu is what we targeted.
