So I have been farming Bub subless for like 6-7 days now. have proced all mobs I pull and have yet to get a white proc. Are we sure EP mobs can proc white, or am I just having terrible luck?

I only got my first whites yesterday, 2 in same run, but only when both my chars were SJless. DNC THF combo, with Drain Samba, dont really need subjobs and I farm just as much with as I do without. The only inconvenience is I occasionally take damage, but Waltz sorts that out.

We usually go with a DNC(no Sub), THF(or BST), DRK, and BLM.. just my rag-tag group. DNC always doesn't have sub, but the rest of us do.

So far out of ~4 runs we've seen 2 whites. None in the first two (They were "Test" runs, we went on shitty job combos to test some stuff), and 2 in the last 2 runs.

Friday we got White on a Hippo. Our Rotation in Valkurm btw is Hippo > Manti > Fly ... Flies suck, But We usually kill them before they get a WS off thanks to proc > rock

Saturday we got a white on Snolls. Our rotation there is usually Bats > triples > Raptors... but today it was camped to fuck with JP so we did Tigers > Snolls > mantas.

Not racking in a lot of coins, But the Friday run i got 410, and today i got 360. Could be better, but a lot better than Zilart zones.

Man, I'm doing something terribly wrong. I still can't find TE5, eesh. I did walk through all the possible camps though, so either someone killed it when I passed by there or I'm blind.

Did a test run with an RDM and did so-so. My damage output isn't as great as I'd like it to be, though. :s

I'm going to see if LS wants to do Tav on Thursday - going to try and farm NQ boss pops this morning. I've seen the map for Tav - the TE's are protypes now the same as other zones?
Antlion/Bugard, what do they do? I think I read something in the thread about there being a field of worms now, the drops are split by floors.

The old TE/SJ restriction mobs are now just EP mobs. Only seen 1 bugard (was in his usual spot), there's lots of worms (they don't cast Stonega IV anymore) and antlions I assume are on the top floor although we didn't explore up there much.

TEs are: Middle Floor - 1 at either end of the upper walkway (with hydra mobs). 1 in the middle of lower walkway (with pugils). 1 on the circular route to the east (with worms)
Upper Floor - Middle of lower walkway. (20 mins)

The nightmare mobs work on the same weakness rotation as the other CoP zones except the taurus mobs who seem to be a random stagger.

I was playing around with the Tav pages last night and wondering how -1 armors are split up now?

My impression at the moment is:
* Nightmare Tauri (2nd floor) are EM-T monsters and drop the Hydra crap like they always have
* Clusters and Leeches (2nd floor) are the EM~T monsters and drop Fiendish Tome 16&17
* Worms, Bugards, Hornets, and Makara (1st floor) are the EP monsters and drop Herald's Juju

Now, do Clusters/Leeches drop Bodies -1 and the low level stuff drop Legs -1? It would seem silly for that to be the case...

Done Tav quite a few times now and can safely say that Clusters and Leeches drops -1 bodies as before, with other Nightmare mobs (barring Tauri) dropping -1 Legs.

Before the update, the -1 drops were split, as in Clusters would drop 10 -1 bodies, Leeches will drop the other 10, and vise versa with Hornets/Makara. Now, according to the old lolWiki, BLM-1 Body used to drop off the Leeches and not Clusters, so I think now any F3 Nightmare mob can drop any -1 body, any F2 mob (except tauri) can drop any -1 Legs, but still needs testing. Also, Leeches used to only drop BST/MNK/NIN/PLD/PUP/SAM/SCH/THF/WHM -1 Legs, and now they drop a lot more.

I've played around with different groups of mobs and am getting a feel for what drops what (or at least, what seems to lean on what - Trust me, Manticores like to drop BLU, PUP, NIN head and SAM and WHM accessories galore in case you were interested).

Anyway, has anyone gotten an RDM hat from any group of mobs in any frequency? I suppose this could have gone in random questions, but this seemed more appropriate. I even wondered about a separate thread compiling what seems to drop from what now, but I am not going to make that call

If you look back at this post, you'll see Dynamis - Qufim probably doesn't separate AF2-1 pieces by monster type. I got 12 different -1 armors off Snolls, so it's probably just random.

I got RDM hat -1 off Nightmare Funguars though, if you feel like voodooing it up. It was the EM~T ones.

Did we get a confirm on how Tomes work in Tav outside of the Suit one? Had seen some contradictions before.

We've had multiple reports of Tome II (Chapter 15) off the Kindred Vanguard and we've had reports that Tome 16 and 17 both drop off Nightmare Clusters and Leeches (as in, both can drop both).

I would be inclined to agree with you, except the fact that on multiple runs on same mob types (mostly manticores, though I think the "mob families" by currency have similar drops) tended to drop the same AF -1. I have seen about 5 PUP heads, 7 NIN masks and 5 BLU heads. Having said that, I have also seen a BLM head, RNG Head, BRD head and uhhh I think that's it. I'm wondering if some mobs "lean" on certain drops more than others. Having said that... I think I'll buy into the voodoo and mess around with funguars today lol.

Just chiming in in case these haven't been found yet.

Just did Tav with my LS - just confirming we got a white stagger on Pugs with 4/5 TEs and with a Dia spell. No AOE.

So you can white without full TEs, no idea if this applies to cleave staggers though.
