Just to clarify, only the procer needs to have SJ locked for white? We've been going with a the whole group locked.

@Taint: Yes, only the proccer needs to have no subjob.
I just caught wind of the aoe farming in dyna from Guildwork and was looking to find more info about it.
I never really thought about it, but what would be the best way to do it?
PLD with aeolian or WAR with cleave? From the post above it looks like your AoE WS'er should be subjobless?
About how many mobs do you think you could do. Also the nightmare mobs, can any AoE WS proc on them? I haven't done CoP since the update, so I am only aware of job specific procs. CoP doesn't follow this same system?
Here is a link that will explain the proc system. You can use Circle Blade on Paladin (no Aeolian without a sub). WAR with cleave is going to kill things too fast and not be durable enough, imop.
We tried cleaving with a war, and they got demolished pretty quickly. Thf and Dnc work great because of evasion. Mnk and spinning fist works ok also but it has a very short aoe range so will have to stack mobs on top of each other which can be hard to do sometimes.
Some jps kept diaga'n our pulls, so we just cleaved their pulls. that put a stop to it very quickly if you run into that btw. Jps on Odin are vicious.
Thanks for the link. By durable do you mean dying?
Do people usually cleave the mobs down to death or just cleave a bunch for procs then kill normally? I wouldn't expect them to die quickly with circle blade. I do have Ochain at my disposal, but I'm not sure how fast a pile of mobs would die with just circle blade spam.
How do you think Ochain PLD spamming circle blade a couple times then a WAR coming in to finish everything off with cleave would be good? Or a THF coming in with Aeolian?
I'm sure I could Ochain circle blade a pile down, but I'm not sure how efficient that would be.
4-5 circle blades should have everything proc'd, then just Vorpal/Cdc them down.
Pull any Nightmare CoP mob and AOE WS on a job with no subjob during WS trigger time. This will give me a chance at 100 and money drop. And this bonus seems to only apply when you have no-subjob. Getting all TE in zone does not effect "white" trigger". That sound about right?

[Update Details]
- The accuracy of area of effect attacks striking the weak point of a monster that is not being targeted has been reduced in the following zones.
Dynamis - Valkurm / Dynamis - Buburimu
Dynamis – Qufim / Dynamis - Tavnazia
awesome
I believe the word is "nerfed".
Depends how much lower is. Killing a group of mobs with Aeolian Edge, making it 8-12 WSs (depending on family group) could be what they wanted rather than 1-3 WS being able to proc them all (or most of them). I tried AoE farming, didn't like it, won't like it now.
Yeah, time for me to go back to JA proccing and single target killing. Thanks SE, yoooooou assholes.
at least it was reduced, not eliminated?
/halffull
well dnc and bst > all now
Well before it was more like 8-12 to proc them all if you're lucky, I can't imagine the reduction making it "9-13" lol. idc, I do JA but in my opinion they should have increased the chance to proc on WS not lowered it.
Ruined my goddamn day
Not like this was hurting anything, wasnt even that much faster than just doing JA mobs one by one. Was acually kind of fun.
Actually, it was kind of annoying to find other groups of mobs entirely missing like 30 seconds into WS proc time because some PLD/healer duo was holding them all off in a corner. Happened to me several times already in Qufim where the groups of EP mobs are somewhat smaller than you'd find in other areas like Buburimu.
Okay, yeah, AoE procs are reduced to a crazily low level. Gotten none via AoE so far, and seen one paladin get one proc on a mob he wasn't fighting in about a group of 10?
This is ridiculous.
