Wow, I didn't even realize wikia copied the information uncited. Apparently they discovered it and posted it based on personal experiences, because they cite no one. At least I put it all in one place for them, I guess?

Here is a better section on Dynamis proccing.

    1. Each zone has TE. Killing all 5 TE increases the rate that you can proc mobs.
    2. Mobs that are proc'd have a higher chance of dropping currency. Although it can happen without TE or without procs, simply far more rarely.
    3. AF drops like candy and should be treated like flint stones it is now so common.
    4. Procs depend on jobs of the mob you are fighting, i.e. magic will proc some mobs but not others, /ja some different mobs, etc.
    5. You can proc the same mob multiple times.
    6. Procs are nothing like Abyssea, don't even bother.

Please let me know if any of the above statements are incorrect, misunderstood, or partially true.

    I have questions:

    1. If dual-boxing for currency and wanting to work on stage 5 first (because I can, that's why), which requires 10k shells, should I farm Windy or a CoP zone, and why?
    2. Should I simply camp somewhere with some mobs I can kill (After getting TE), or roam?
    3. In the above scenario, using a thief main and whm mule, what would be your recommendation for farming shells? Thief has all normal subs, whm has an eclectic variety of subs.

What should I know that I haven't asked?
Alright, to address this in more detail:

    1. Correct. A little more info for CoP areas: Four TEs (the 10 min extensions) spawn among the EP beastmen families, one per. The fifth (20 min) is among one of the four EM-T beastmen families; it can spawn in any of these.

    2. There's a table under the Dynamis category of the BG-wiki that explains how procs affect currency. Basically there's only one slot for currency normally, and then after three TEs, a proc will add one potential drop slot, four TEs will add a second potential drop slot, and the fifth adds one 100% drop slot.

    3. AF2? Well... sometimes it does, but not from Nightmare mobs, only beastmen can drop them. I know I spent eight or nine runs getting my Etoile Tiara. AF2-1? Drops like candy just as you said, though getting your specific one can be a pain (Tossed six pairs of NIN-1 hands after +1ing mine, four pairs of BST-1, three pairs of RDM-1, etc.). AF accessories? Specific to mobs based on their currency, Byrth compiled a list somewhere, irrc. They do have a high drop rate though.

    4. Correct. Byrth linked a good source. A bit more in-depth: There are two systems of staggers which I fondly dub "Beastmen Procs" and "Nightmare Procs".
--->4a. Beastmen procs vary based on the mob's job; "Heavy" jobs (WAR, SAM, PLD, DRK, DRG) are WS procs, "Light" jobs (THF, MNK, RNG, NIN, BST) are JA procs, and "Mage" jobs (SMN, WHM, BLM, RDM, BRD) are magic procs. Good to memorize this if you're farming beastmen.
--->4b. Nightmare procs vary based on time of day and the monster. Every 8 hours (0-8, 8-16, 16-0) each "family" (based on currency type) switches procs. For example, all Nightmare mobs that drop T. Whiteshells are JA from one 8-hour period become WS the next 8-hour period. There's a good table for this at the bottom of Byrth's link.

    5. Incorrect. One proc per mob.

    6. Correct. There's a lot of differences; you can proc during JAs/spells, or while stunned. Procs can be any JA, spell, or WS that directly targets the mob. For example with JAs, berserk can't proc, but provoke can, because it targets the mob.

    As for your questions:

    1. I would farm a CoP zone personally. With enough staggers (magic, ja, ws) you can proc shell mobs all day around, or you can stick to JAs and get all three types of currency before trading the bynes and bronze for shells. CoP zones just have a much higher yield if you farm Nightmare mobs, and with everyone scrambling for a relic now that they're cheaper than before to get, trades can probably work out well.

    2. It depends on your choice of farming tactic. If you're farming beastmen, then yes, you can stay in one specific location. If you're farming Nightmare mobs, there are a few camps where you don't need to move too much, though you do need to bounce between families. Like in Buburimu, you can camp near the ramp that leads down to the south beach and rotate between Crawlers, Mandragoras, and Scorpions, which are all fairly close.

    3. THF/DNC + WHM could be a good combination, because /DNC provides several JA procs via steps and Flourishes. However, I feel that in terms of JA procs availability DNC/WAR is probably best if you're not aiming for white procs, as that gives you four stagger options every 30 seconds: Steps, Flourish 1 (one of: Violent/Animated/Desperate), Wild Flourish, and Provoke.

A DNC/WAR actually has 11 chances to proc every 60 seconds. Steps 4 times, Violent flourish 3 times, wild flourish and provoke twice each.

You're right, I was more thinking in general terms, with Provoke at a 30 second timer. Seemed off to me for a second but I'm tired so sue me. xD

Step, violent flourish, and wild flourish are all capped at 95% Acc so it's closer to 10.5. DNC/WAR is a JA proccing machine. I still get the occasional difficult mob, but last night it was pretty ridiculous. At one point I had four JA proc mobs terrored at once.

    Yeah, I had a couple of those even with the AoE nerf. DNC/X + BST/DNC, we had accidentally linked like five crawlers and had 4/5 proc'd before the first terror wore off. It's nice when they actually wanna proc instead of taking twenty or so JAs to stagger. x_x;

Eh, as far as proc'ing goes, I posted the Nightmare mob info the day I found it out, same as when I posted it here, back when you were still filling out the table.
Someone went ahead and decided to re-write my explanation on the section though. :/
But yeah, I've been noticing that wikia posts no citations, apparently.

Speaking of wild flourish, do you have any idea why it sometimes has "no effect" on a mob (I know it won't overwrite itself, but I've seen the message on mobs where that was the first action I've taken on it.)

It can't give a chainbound effect to something that's already "chainbound" from a WS.

Also, I don't doubt that some of the information is posted by original people, but it was all re-written like an unformatted version of the same page I made.

Oh, I can't say, I'm only speaking in terms of that one specific part I contributed; I know nothing of the rest of the page.

Ah, good to know. Kinda obvious when it's pointed out but I have no idea how long that would have taken me to figure out on my own. Thanks.

I still can't understand how people are getting 300+ duo. I go with mnk/dnc and thf/dnc, and most of the time I gotta hold on my dmg before I can even proc. Highest is 202 in Bubu so far.

My friend and I average about 200ish a round too, we go BST/DNC + DNC/X. Procs are fairly quick, thankfully. Though 300+ I do wonder at myself.

Personally, I feel like I don't pull out enough damage to get that kind of coin. That, and sometimes you just waste too much time proc'ing one mob, you know?

Thats why we stopped doing that. If a mob doesn't proc from 100-1%HP we just kill it, found you average more coins in the long run that way.

Couple of questions if anyone could help:

    1. Can anyone forward me to posts of the maps that had the mob families color coded.
    2. Do you have to be within range for TE's or can you split up with your partner?
    3. What mobs are you guys using for Dyna-Valk? I did Treants/Flys/Hippos and went alright for first run, just wondering is theres a better camp.

    Stats

Ok I looked threw 92 pages before I posted this and didnt see anyone answer it. I hope I didnt fly by it, I started to go cross eye a bit after so much reading. Do stats drop 100s? I saw a lot of ppl ask the question but no one ever answered. Wiki claims Serjeant Tombstone in sandy drops it, but I take that info with a grain of salt. Are there any ss of 100s dropping from stats? Anyone here ever see it happen?

Boss statues in cities do drop 100s but very rarely, mini statues do not. Use BG wiki instead of otherwiki. It is updated and pretty accurate.

Sorry no screen shot, but there were a few on the forum proving so.
