General Update Changes (May-09-11)

Thank fucking god WoTG gives solo access to get behind all three banishing gates....

Where exactly was the strange apparatus room? I'll be needing to farm a coffer soon, and I used to do the key downstairs just because it's easiest to access.

Just the largest room have completely new mobs. None of the old mobs are there.

However, the small rooms (where the weapons and undead skins were, between G,H-8 H-9) remain unchanged.

The room at I-8 and J-8 also remains changed, and I found that Serket died in that room as well, which makes it likely that it's this room where Serket will be roaming now.

Edit: Confirmed. Hovering Hotpot will now be popping on J-8 on the third map, right outside of the Strange Apparatus.

Any testing yet on how VIT affects criticals? It sure seemed like a nerf was coming yet I was able to smack Cara tonight (in her rage mode) with a 1799 Raging Rush. Doesn't seem like the update nerfed crit dmg at all.

SE even said so themselves that it would only affect mobs attacking players, not players attacking mobs.

Seeing nearly half a mob's HP disappearing in 2 seconds without WSing was a bit "What the fuck?" (100% crit. damage + Ukko's + Ravager's set bonus possibilities >_>)

I did 20 byakko's synth, best I could get was 3 vit, 5 agi, 5 stp.
did like 30 genbu shields, best was 5% heal, -5% cure cast time, 23 mp.
osode got jack like 4 attack 1 regen. I think the seal you use to do osode affects it, i was using genbus.

Kirin's Osode augments:

1st. HQ, Evasion +7, dual wield +1.

2nd. HQ, Dual Wield +2, Crit. Hit rate +2%.

3rd. NQ, Lightning elemental resistance +2

4th. HQ, Dual wield +1, Crit.Hit rate +1

which scrap did you use? I was getting attack/regen using genbu scraps.

I used Byakko's scraps for the Osode. And you can remove the augments by synergizing the Osode by itself.
