SE ninja nerfed merits too...
I went to raise my hand to hand skill last night and was only able to go from 0~6 because apparently they decided to change the amount of points needed. It now takes a maximum of 5 points per upgrade instead of 3 like it used to.
Not the end of the world but FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU all the same, I was hoping to max H2H in 1 trip.
Nope, it's still 1 > 2 > 3 > 3 > 3 > 3 > 3 > 3 for combat and magic skills. I took dagger from 4 to 8 this morning with 12 points and put 5 points into critical hit rate, leaving me with 3 points. HP/MP and Other merits are a 1 point increase per level, and stats are 3 additional points per level.
I just increased my dagger from level 4 to level 5 for 3 merits before this maint. started, maybe just h2h is fucked up?
And before you ask, no SE will not give you your merits back, sorry.
Sticking high level mobs in the middle of low to mid level zones is a really stupid (and ffxiv-esque) idea... If I'm pissing about trying to get AF for a job I don't want to have to be avoiding stupid level mobs. And wiping out camps in the process is lame, what if abyssea explodes and people have to go back to normal partying?!
I also tried it; got Attuner as my reward. Nothing new or special. Beat it using Soulsoother and just straight tanking itOriginally Posted by Alkar
EDIT: If they did add any of the Ashu-Talif Assault attachments to the ENM, you would have a 1/13-15 chance of getting it. With a 5-earth day cool-down on ENM's, it could take you months of ENM's to get it. Well done Square, the PUP community appreciates making us grind through lv.60 old ENM's lol

In regards to comments about the placement of the Abyssea NPCs in Heaven’s Tower, Windurst, the development team is aware of what you are all pointing out. The development team tried placing them in each area of Windurst, however, there were memory issues in Windurst Woods, Windurst Waters, and Port Windurst which would not allow the ability to confirm Bastion conditions. Due to this, they placed the NPCs in Heaven’s Tower.
As pointed out, there is a difference in convenience when compared to San d’Oria and Bastok, and though it might take some time, we will be looking for other methods to solve this issue.
why not just do those fights at 90...?
Has anyone tried cleaving in Scars/Heroes areas and seeing if new KI's show up in boxes?

been cleaving 6 hours for 60 merit points so that should confirm they dont![]()
Targeting the Captain is easy, getting 2 people out there to help you out is a totally different thing. Wish they'd just remove the 3 member requirement or move the attachments elsewhere.
At least them being in ENM60 would be a plus. They've probably added the new ones there though.
