You realize that if the other DDs were doing more damage that the BLM's overall % of damage would not have been as high right?

That SAM is absolutely horrible if he's only parsing 14% in a zerg.

I see nothing horrible about this SAM.
He opened with Fudo for AM and did 9 Shoha. I did 10 Ukko. He might be missing like 10STR and 20att for shoha and he missed one hit in 2 shohas (848 was probably miss on first hit and 1185 was miss on 2nd hit)
I was pretty lucky with my ws numbers yeah but I completely destroyed pretty much EVERY Samurai I played with. I think common thinking about SAM being close to WAR in VW is very wrong. Ukko is still higher avg than Shoha, because of saveTP and Double attack WS frequency is not really higher on SAM and in melee damage WAR trashes SAM.

The only parse when BLM won with this SAM was on Pil when this SAM died 2 times on 3 Pils.
Pil parse was wrong to post anyway like Taint said shield and doom ( hit-turn strategy or dding from 2 sites, both lower your dd output) messing it.
The Pixie zerg tho is definitely not invalid and beside a little lacks in SAM ws gear and me being kinda lucky on those Ukko's it shows the truth. WAR is that much better on all out than SAM at VW and Annihilator RNG spamming Last Stand is right there with SAM.

I've won full Pil parses on Corsair. It's not that impressive, especially if no one is rocking Marches. I don't get what point it is you're actually trying to make aside from attempting to e-peen by proxy that a BLM who sits there churning out high tier nukes while other people refill his temps for him is going to deal a decent amount of damage.

If the Black Mage is making up a significant portion of the parse it can only mean one thing: Your bard is lazy as all fuck and needs to be replaced, and your entire alliance is Doinitwrong by leaving Marches out of a Zerg.

I'm sorry, but that Samurai is total trash. If every Samurai you've played with is like that, they all have been trash. I'm not argueing that SAM parses higher than WAR in VW currently (although it's happened enough times already cause of different factors) but he should never deal only half the damage of a WAR, even if the WAR got the best numbers ever.

You said SAM did 9 WS? 17000 damage rounded up, 17000/9=~1900. 1900 Shoha average on a trash mob like that Pixie is horrible, stop trying to defend that.

@Nynja Thats why I admited that Pil parse was wrong. The 2 other parses are ZERGS. None needed to proc anything because it was white at start and other 3-4 staggers came from support jobs.

@Greatguardian Maybe, but it was in half the shout group and brd is not from my ls and at least he staggered right.

@Vriska ... Im not a star Im TANKING. Dillan is usually on WAR for stagger and my job is to keep mob on me and deal damage. When I am only war in ally I stagger. When I am on BLU I stagger. When dedicated for stagger WAR die, I start to stagger. That works much better than 2 WARs trying to stagger. If I would try to stagger on for example Ig-alima the hate would be everywhere. When I tanked for JPs I even wanted to do club and staff on MNK but the answer I got was "No, You hand-to-hand only" and I easily killed everything with this JP including this Fort Hahava v3 with melee zerg in 5-9 min x 8 and Rex(with different strategy ofc but proving that he knows what he is doing) so it works very good for us.

If you parsed higher on SAM than Ukko WAR then this WAR is a) trying to stagger b) is a trash

@Jornna First of all nerf havent hit the real servers. Second of all it wasnt about VW. VW have massive support for WAR (champion drink, wing allowing to maintain AM3, save TP making xhit so low that SAM higher TP gain is irrelevant, Fanatic drink which makes defensive capabilities pointless). I was talking about normal events like new nyzul, salvage, limbus and was basing this on my experience from doing dynamis now. SAM TP gain just trash other DDs under normal circumstances. Shoha/fudo/kaiten damage is avg around the same or higher than Ukko now and thats only because of high crit on Ukko. It will be crashed when nerf will hit servers.

If someone is trolling thats you because you just made a question that I have already answered in last post.

"You should be triggering" is funny statement because it solely depends of your strategy. If that works good for you then cool keep doing it but for us the best is to let one war to cover staggers and 2nd only support him when there is for example 2HQ and 2NQ weapons to do. I have all type of weapons in my inventory including martial sword bought so its not like idc for staggering. We simply have strategy that tank should tank and it works great for us. I think we are only NA group on Baamut that easily farmed few Ig-alima in a row and attempted to try Rex so we not gonna change anything but thx for you input.

Initial point was that I was surprised by BLM dd output and wanted to check if ppl will figure out Mischief job from a parse. It was funny "new year" riddle but like always at BG several ppl started to offtopic and now we ended up where we are now.
