So basically we need more people that can stun, I guess. He's annoying the crap out of all of us, lol. Thanks guys, for your input.

Not done Kalasutrax much but on previous models of this mob the stance moves were pretty damn difficult to stun.
If you want to have a successful fight with kalasutrax bring jobs that can stun the stance in a nice fashionable order. The more you stun the stance at the beginning the quicker the fight. But chances are you'll have a lot of people dieing constantly even with the fanatic spams. There were a lot of times where we had to pretty much zombie it down for the rest of the time and still it was a close way of winning. Aegis pld is probably not mandatory but it is so helpful when there is practically no other job that can tank it while weakened, and most of the time everyone will be weakened at the end and he'll constantly run around destroying everyone. (careful, sometimes he'll spam death)
Does Ig-Alima seem to have some sort of random hate? At one point only DD alive is Vere Mnk, with fanatics up (so no hate decay from taking dmg) and the thing just walks around smashing random alliance people.
Also it has some kind of regen.
Divesting Gale is definitely hate reset, and it might be a total alliance hate reset because he definitely goes nuts afterwards if nobody can quickly grab hate back. I've seen reports of other hate reset moves being mentioned, but he never ran away once when we stunned Divesting Gale.
If you want a fail-safe victory, stun Divesting Gale and Oblivion's Mantle and you're pretty much guaranteed a win. Fanatics drinks will block these moves though so if you've got the procs for it, stun isn't even needed.
He seems to gain -pdt as the fight progresses, and each stagger lowers it back to 0%. I could be wrong about that, but it's fairly easy to tell the difference on RNG.
Stunning the stance isn't easy, and the average joe won't be able to do so. If you proc HV every time Fanas have been used and people still die, something is wrong with your alliance. If most of the time everyone will be weakened, again something is wrong with your ally. Doing it that way, there will be times you have a bad set of procs and simply die/zombie, but most of the time you will be fine.
Also, I don't understand why Aegis PLDs can tank it weakened and Ochain ones not. I've done so and I'm sure a lot of others as well.
-ga's and ja's+the constant dispels sometimes death. but this was me relying on 1# and 2# stunners only going for yama's and other tp's. but then i remembered my pld was a taru. so maybe lack of hp was an issue. we were trying to take it down from the start, so it's obvious everyone is going to have an issue with hate with the lack of procs/fanatics and will eventually die.
DANGER! SPOILER CONTAINS A PARSE!
Spoiler: show
So, ya, get a better WAR and start using MNK.
Edit: Bokura was /sam, Zhaden was PLD outside of DD party.
That's all I asked for--thank you. Every other WAR I've happened to Voidwatch with fails to produce averages (and to a lesser extent, my own) even remotely close to these.
It would be interesting to see how much closer Bokura would have gotten (I know it's an Apocalypse and not a Ragnarok but whatever) with /WAR rather than /SAM (assuming the fight is more or less done by the time LR+Berserk is over) too! But a dream is a dream
A Ragnarok DRK puts up a decent amount of damage and suddenly apologists for the WAR come out of the woodwork as if such a thing is inconceivable.
Rikura's assessment might be premature, but damn does it reek of petty shooting-down of someone putting a relic to good use in here.
Bluedemon, the WAR if you were paying attention, is no slouch either. Can't really assess what his WAR looks like, but I bet he'd be pretty pissed if you called him a lolWAR just to make his DRK buddy look less stellar.
Loosely controlled parses is one thing, comparing across two parses with possibly vastly differing buffs is some crazy joke though.
I still hate /war on drk soooooooooooooooo much Raelia. I feel the same way about it as I do people who /thf with torcleaver. Just sets my teeth on edge.
Definitely viable since LR buff. Certainly acceptable on certain GS applications where a 6-hit is a bit of a stretch even /SAM but a 7-hit is doable without and you have the support for Seigan to be unnecessary. Berserk+LR is overkill most of the time but definitely why his Resolution parsed so nice and high.
Three minute LR duration really killed Hasso's usefulness on DRK too. I go 100% /MNK (RR/GH/RL Counterstance) or /DRG (Raiden Thrust, multihit jumps) in Abyssea for that matter, and /DNC for most easy old content solo or lowman. /SAM is kinda dead now except for hitbuilding which isn't quite as applicable to the 'Pure DD' (Caladbolg, Ragnarok) weapons as to ye olde 528 delays.
We successfully killed Kalasutrax yesterday, relying on stunning stance didn't really work though, so we had some people change jobs and just paced our staggers to the best of our ability to replenish people's temp items (fanatics most importantly). Wasn't death-free but all in all it went well, last fight was pretty smooth. No zombie-ing necessary.
(Edit: psssst btw SE, cursna-ga <Can I have it?> -.-)
onice :3
Looks more like he was saving TP. 41 melee hits compared to the SAM's 29, but only 9 WS. I can understand losing to a SAM in WS frequency by 3-4 in VW, but 8? He was either very slow WSing or saving TP.
Are you really basing how good a player is based off their ffxiah profile instead of listening to 2 people who're on the same server and have played with him? But, I will agree he'll probably be pretty pissed if/when he sees this, lol.
What kind of buff you got here because seeing your melee hits it looks really high (COR did chaos+miser?)
Im not gonna believe this MNK always parse that high. It was some luck involved here with Impetus for sure. 5400? That kind o vsmite probably pops once per 30 fights.
Maybe because he was /WAR for no meditate or Store TP for anything better than a 7-hit? You're surprised his Melee hits to WS ratio is perfectly normal in comparison to a job that gets three free WS from 2-hour and every three minutes? That he had 4.5 swings per WS is far from saving TP.
The WAR apologists here would imply he was in full Perle with WoE Gaxe if not for that. I know someone can have epic equipment and still be lolsome.
EDIT: NVM, probably the best he can do /war. Still don't know what the rest of his buffs where.
