I think almost everyone that enjoys it would pay 30 a month for a few new bosses in dark souls every month without even hesitating, just as one example.
Def not... Sry dude
Can anyone post a screenshot of Abjurations dropping directly from dragon please? 26 kills from LS now and not seen a single out outside of the Trove, beginning to doubt if its possible.
at least dragon now have 2 loot pools for equipments O_O
this means a 100% increase from the base drop rate!!!!!!
Agreed. I've flagged this a couple times in the past and only one person has ever said that they've seen one load into the pool. They're not a terribly uncommon occurrence in the troves, so I find it pretty unlikely that no one else has seen one drop into the pool yet. Granted that could have been changed yesterday, so we should probably reserve judgment for a week or so.
I swear to Allah I've seen one, for some reason it sticks out as being lotted on by lots of people who didn't need it, and I had to say hey fuckheads stop being douchey.
As far as no one else seeing it (if I'm remembering correctly) we've seen: Saio(once) and Sword (lots) and Staff (lots) and Shield (once) Abj?(once) and nothing (lots). Some (all dropped something) were BLU TH, rest were THF (like after the 3rd or 4th).
Chests have put out 1xDrachenhorn, 1xSaio, lots of Abjs, staffs, swords, 1xShield, 1xSaio, 1xHyaline hat.
I want to say I'm sitting around 20~21wins for that example. My LS has got Arise and Staff, I think, same dragon.
From our 26 kills have now seen - Sword/Staff (Lots), handful of shields, 1 Drachenhorn pooled, 2 troved, 3 Tessera all troved, no Hyalines, 1 Meteor, no Arise. Get an abj around every 2nd fight, all troved.
Edit: 2nd meteor tonight, followed by Staff/Shield pool....
Double Staff and Arise. Bounty Shot power!
Saw our first pooled Drachenhorn last night, followed by a Staff and then a Staff and Sword. So far we've gotten 2 Arise, 3 Meteor, 2 Drachenhorn (1 Pool, 1 Chest), 1 Saio (Chest), 4 Shields (all chest), 1 Hyaline Hat (Pool), countless Sword/Staff. It's hard to tell right now but it seems like they just added another drop slot but kept the shitty drop rates
This ticket system sounds completely retarded. SE seem fixated on this NO SELLING shit which nobody actually cares about apart from maybe a few retards who still argue that paying for a r/e drop or a FC party is wrong. If they forgot about that and realised that no one gave a damn they could just have a normal drop system which people would like. But nooo... they have to make shit extra stupid and complicated because they're too stubborn to turn around and say "you know what, fuck it, we were wrong".
I think their motivation was more to get people in LSes to help each other out with tickets. You know that if they made the tickets sellable, in a LS setting you'd still have 90% of people just taking the ticket and bazaaring it. This at least forces it into the treasure pool so you can't "ninja" away with it. I don't know that I necessarily agree with their fascist takeover forcing us to distribute loot the way they want us to, but if they really did reduce the ticket requirement from some higher number to 3 then I'm OK with it. Also, while it doesn't necessarily force you to do the content, it at least forces you to be around for the drop if you want it, else you'd have people with rare/ex bodies and weapons who never even participated in VW.
All that being said, this leaves the door wide open to all sorts of ninja lotting and other shenanigans in a pick up group.
Actually, I guess you could just disband after the fight, invite the person you wanted to give/sell the ticket to and then just create it for your pool so the rest of the group wouldn't know.
The thought had crossed my mind, lol. I wonder if you do disband to create a ticket if it will still announce to the entire group when you create the ticket, or if they will somehow implement a countermeasure to prevent this from being possible in the first place.
Edit: Just noticed, the post does specifically mention something about limiting it to players who participated in the battle but doesn't go into much detail. They might just be referring to making the items ex so that they can't be bazaared/sold later, or it might have some other implications, it's hard to tell.
As pointed out in another Thread here, this System is also fundamentally flawed in the fact you need 3 tickets.
What happens when your linkshell helps you get 2/3 Tickets and then you get the body for yourself? You now have 2 completely worthless tickets that could have helped someone else if we could trade them.
So with the old system, Even though you needed 6 (also retarded, whats with their boner for making it 500x More difficult than it should be...? Is trading 6 Bodies for 1 their idea of Balance?) - You could at least trade your tickets if you happened to come across a body while collecting tickets..
I'd make this point on the official forums hoping the morons in charge might read it and go "You know he's right". 1/trillion chance... But yah... Account not active for the time.
Done rabbling, I miss that period of time for about 2-3 months when the Dev team actually listened to our feedback. We're now right back to "No".
It makes more sense if you use the current state of things as the baseline. In the case you're talking about, the person will get the body when he would have gotten the body anyway if the ticket system was never added. Yes those particular tickets will be wasted, but right now getting a body with tickets isn't even a possibility. The only really valid disappointment I could see arising from this is if someone actually pays some significant amount of gil for tickets and then gets the item they want before getting all three tickets. But that's the risk they will have to take and that risk should factor into the pricing of the tickets if they do get sold frequently.
Sure, but if that was done in a LS environment, it would be pretty obvious lol:
Member 1: "Hay guize, need to afk 10 mins, dropping party."
<Member 2 drops party 5 seconds after>
</sea all shows Member 1 is a party leader and Member 2 is in a new party>
<Member 2 rejoins ally 30 seconds later.>
Member 2: "Oh sorry, I must have accidentally pressed Disband ;; "
Obviously, this is exaggerated, but it would be pretty easy for a LS to control unauthorized selling. I agree the ticket system isn't 100% perfect, but meh....it's more than we have now and I can see ways of making it work in an LS environment (e.g., filling ally with people who have the item already and/or hundreds of stones and don't mind using, offering DKP incentives, etc.)
