One more thing to test from that thread then, someone said to use "/fume motion" to hide how you're doing it, didn't really sound like they tested if that works, they just think it should. Not a major thing for sure, but curiosity etc...

...also there's one other reason others may have held back the info. An NA person on good terms with a JP group may find themselves less on good terms with them if they let the cat out of the bag. JP players (to differentiate from SE's own bias) have been known to not like things shared with NA players.

I still don't understand why this was kept so tightly. No one would benefit from it being a secret. There is no competition on VW and awards are individual basis. Someone in that thread said it might have been kept secret to avoid douches from abusing it. I mean unless you are trying to get the revitalizer, there is no reason to sabotage your own run.

It's about time people figured this out lol. My LS has a JP in it and it was discovered the day of Vanafest by our LS. I actually wasn't allowed to tell anyone and we used "/fume motion" to mask the effect.

Sounds to me more like the JP in his LS (and by JP I bet he means someone in his LS from NA who speaks Japanese) watched/was at vanafest where it was told and then told his LS. Because the whole "we discovered this the day of vanafest" reaks of bullshit.

As far as actually attempting to keep something like that a secret, in an event that has 0 competitive value, well the only word that comes to mind rhymes with runt, and its not stunt, punt or bunt.

They may be trying to sound like smartasses, but they are only succeeding in sounding like useless assholes who would hide a secret that could be potentially useful to a lot of people. Much like NA players don't like to share things among each other either for the most part or will be quicker to state:

How did you pick ephemeron for rank 2? Coulda swore the only option was 5 umbral marrows.

Using Camouflage after activating Decoy Shot will remove the enmity cap on Decoy Shot.

Useless tidbit because its rng, but the fact they threw this in when I've yet to hear anything regarding that, I'll accept the legitimate mishap.
