Don't suppose we'll ever see an updated OP huh?
Lot of Info to read through. Just not getting into Voidwatch, before i read all 17 pages, is there some out-front important details i should know about? Any tips in general?
Haven't seen this mentioned (maybe I missed it) but is it normal to get different temp items while fighting a Tier 3? Wound up getting Shepard's Drink Carnal Incense Hi-Potion (normal one) and basically only 6 temp items rather than the nice huge list we normally get.
Just actually started doing this for real instead of occasionally screwing around, and after mopping up the T1s, I was curious about the T2s. I just reread the majority of the thread, but curious about the jump in difficulty between tiers? Obviously doing T1 was near autopilot and wondering if I should get more people instead of the ~7 I went with today (obviously more procs, etc but just going for abyssite upgrades atm) How terrible am I looking at for the Antlion and Slime? I don't keep up with Bahamut news anymore, but I haven't even seen many people go out and kill these (except randomly 100 people in Ordelles for no good reason) I have more concern over the T2/T3 than the T4![]()
some random tips ive picked up whilst partying with JP PUGs, who seem to have a much clearer picture of this (why? idk).
If you're going for white stagger, and most people would if you want periapt/atmacite, you'll need to stagger highly vulnerable. It seems of the random vulnerabilities that the NM has, there will always only be 2 that are highly vulnerable, and those never change until procced. Once procced, something else replaces that 1 out of 2 highly vulnerable procs. This is a fairly effective way of building the other lights as well since you get a whole bunch of other stuff too, depending on what the ability is. As for vulnerable, i think they cycle in a loop or something, but they also change a lot so its more troublesome to target.
Also, if its WS, staggering typically gets you back your dusty wing (items are recharged) and so you have more TP to spam ws. For some reason Akupara's temp item is different from the rest of the T3s I've tried. I think its a glitch.
better trick, most people don't realize that if you wipe or exit the battle by running out of range, you don't actually lose your voidstone. They're only expended if you open a winning chest, pretty much... so if you're low-man and everyone has time, if your initial 2 highly vulnerable procs are not favorable to you, run out / depop the NM and try again - the staggers will be different. Especially useful if you want white.
related exploit, if you have the periapt that gives temp items, you can enter a voidstone battle, use your dusty wing and depop the NM so you start with TP lol (except akupara i guess).
considering the nature of the TP spam, COR for tactician's roll rox, as do /SAM
temp items are random if you have only 1 temp item abyssite, eg, you get fools OR fanatic OR insense. When u got both, you will see more fixed temp items(some still random) like fools drink + fanatic 100% of the time. Sometimes, prolly a glitch, staggering gives temp items and it erases what u got existing and gives u garbage -_-;
As for staggers, theres about 4-5 highly vulnerable weaknesses, maybe mroe for vulnerable weaknesses. Once u proc highly vulnerable, then it will be gone. if it doesnt go away, that means theres more than 1 highly vulnerable weakness of the same element/ws. This also explains why u only see 2 highly vulnerable weakness of certain element/ws/abi on some NM. And yea only highly vulnerable gives white %s
nice trick regarding out of range O_O ima try haha
Anger Bomblet from Moira.
if pattern holds true, that leaves us with 1 unknown drop from Belphoebe, 1 unknown from Lord Afag and 1 unknown from Akupara.
the 2 from Celaeno are kinda predictable but as of yet unconfirmed
Tefnut Wand seems likely from Lord Asag.
Scuta Mantle almost has to be the turtle.
Tonatiuh Axe would probably be Belphoebe then. Also, the latent effect on this axe is probably daytime, given that Tonatiuh is the Aztec sun god.
Just curious but do certain items drop only when certain %s are reached? For example, in trying for a deluxe animator, is there some set range we have to go for if I want that item to drop. I'm guessing no drop is absolute even with the right %...
We got a Tonatiuh Axe from lord Asag.
SE is kinda bad about matching mythologies together these days.
kinda hard to tell toth..
i think the minimum tier is like 200~300% red. either that or the drop % is just ridiculous at 100% (base). If you really want something tho, go with 500%.
we haven't really gotten people coming in saying they got drop at a certain low %... so no clue there
got strendu ring and mantle from voidwrought
Mantodea Harpe dropped from antlion NM
Tonatiuh axe dropped from that vampr
I'm not sure this is entirely true, I believe the person who initiated the fight still loses their voidstone while the rest keep theirs. That seemed to be what happened when we did our runs yesterday, the person popping lost their stone when we wiped and refought it.better trick, most people don't realize that if you wipe or exit the battle by running out of range, you don't actually lose your voidstone.
hmm never paid attention to that cos I was never the popper.. but this is definitely true for the rest of the alliance...
you'll see the message that says 'unused voidstone carries over' or something like that
hmm, I've nothing great to contribute and I'm bored, so I'll just say I think the latent for the axe is likely not so easy as daytime. w/ that high damage and it looks like it can be sold on ah.. it comes from a vampyr.. .Its likely you need to have so many kills before the latent kicks in.
I don't think they will give a highest damage weapon to compete w/ empyrean, mythic or relic so easily.
Tefnut wand is also from Belphoebe..
Has anyone else been having trouble with magic triggers on Celaeno? On each of our kills, we get messages for 1-2 NQ elements, and once triggered, nothing replaces it. It makes it hard as hell to get red lights up when it decides that it isn't going to be staggered by magic with red still at 140%.
Edit: for the weird temp items thing, it may just be that you get a crappy set in (S) zones.
so far the crappy sets only happened in Windy [s] battlefields.. its really weird..
and it seems jp reports have been revised..
Anhur robe and langeleik are now listed as Celaeno drops, and fazheluo R mail under voidwrought, which follows in the drop pattern people were suggesting again.
its funny i haven't heard anyone on this side chime in about those body drops from these 2 NMs
