What's the best, cheapest, most time-efficient way to get more voidstones when your stock has run out? Right now I'm tapping into my Allied Notes supply to get voiddust; which will do for now, but likely run out sooner than later considering how much I'm spamming Kaggen/Qilin.

Only thing other than campaign farming that I can think of, is getting into a cruor farm group and converting that to gil afterwards to buy dust with.

Campaign > Dusts is at best 9 dust/hour, more likely 8. Anywhere you can make more than 8*Local_voiddust_cost gil/hour will be more efficient: dynamis, salvage, cruor - all the usual suspects.

If you can do ~100k xp/hour in a conquest zone not controlled by your nation(split between all characters you're looting dust from, ie, 33k/hour if your 3boxing, 17k/hour full party) without gov/fov it'll pull in similar Conquest Points>Dust as 1 person campaigning. This definitely isn't impossible, but it's probably easier to 2box campaign for ~16 dust/hour

I've always been miserly with my gil, particularly now since I'm working on a relic. Any gil made goes dumped right into that.

Radec's argument still applies. All the extra time you are spending using the cheap way over the farm gil way (assuming it's more time efficient given the prices of your sever) is time you could have spent farming more gil for other purposes.

Yes. You can't teleport until you talk to the npcs in kahzam and rabao. They each give you 3 tele. Gushing Spring and someone near a chocobo in kahzam, don't remember name.

The problem is you're assuming gil/hour is the only consideration in getting necessary farming done. All the other ways that are certainly better than AN > Dusts require a LOT more attention than AN > Dusts. Yes, if I commit to two hours at my PC to just getting me some red !!s by my little lonesome, I'll get more return in Dynamis than attacking a guy and going AFK in Campaign* for roughly the same amount of time, but Campaign will give me the opportunity to clean my house or read a book or any number of the other hundred things split-focus gaming lets me do.

Farming is a chore; I happen to enjoy it but don't act like it's not something you make a varying commitment to perform above and beyond all the other actual content you're doing the farming to expedite. If I could devote two hours of unbroken focus to Dynamis every day ON TOP OF all the other shit I want to do in FFXI on any given day ON TOP OF all the shit I need to do in every other aspect of my life, yes, we could dismiss Campaign.


*cap on AN per minute means that as far as I can tell there is literally no reason not to do this unless you're gunning to be the one guy anywhere for the next three months to actually get a 100 out of Union

If you are dead set on this then they are probably quite easy to tri box with 5/5 clusters, one thing to watch out for is Tsui will try to eat his pets and level up (this may make him bad even at 5/5?) and Vanasarvik has 6 imps that pop and use tp together I believe. They have considerably more hp and are considerably more dangerous than jeuno T5s from memory.

If your tri-box setup isn't all on the same SE account, you could always try it out on the test server, since you have infinite displacers on there to experiment with.

I would think that displacers wouldn't be as much of a problem as getting red and blue capped. Otherwise you risk wasting a lot of gil on getting no drops.

I got your point but I perhaps understated things. The synth items only come from those vwnms and tier 2 legion stuff. No one does those vwnms anymore and only 2 ls's do legion. Also theres a guy here that appears to be buying some up now and then and bazaars them for double price

Hearing some rumours around Bahamut at the moment about Provenance Watcher. Being that theres 2 white procs, one before wings go up and one after. With the point being hitting the first gurantees gear drop and hitting second gurantees a scroll. Anyone else heard about or seen this?
