Probably just luck, or some hidden luck attribute that lets you get drops more often than others. If you're doing it x3 every day you are bound to get some.

well for anyone that has gotten drops they can kinda verify this..
I've personally never seen more than 1 eq/unique drop appear at any 1 time and its always the first item in the chest so if that is so then only rubicund is needed
at the same time theres nothing that says they appear naturally in that state, and it could just be that they're sorted that way when opened, so increasing blue may still increase the chances of getting 1 unique, instead of 0.. idk.
I prefer just rubicund cos I don't like to accumulate too many rubbish drops
I've gotten 2 bodies, 1 celandro hide, 1 kholo hide, 1 carbineer dagger, 1 flower ammo , 2 drain heads, 3 strendu rings, 1 triple attack shield, 1 drain grip, 1 moira tooth out of all our runs, always trading 3 blue 3 reds. Some people in my LS have never even gotten an item I think or maybe just 1 or 2 items ever. Gotta be some hidden luck stat! My nickname now is fucking mac.
But yeah, who knows if it gets sorted, I don't really want to test without cobalt lol.
nice luck
i have gotten 1 body, thats it, alot of logs and demon horns
my wife's ID got way more loot than me
fooking tarus
Gonna be starting Voidwatch soon, just wanted some clarification if the Sphere effects from certain Atmacites count as separate buffs like Atma or if the Refresh one would get overwritten by Refresh.
I already read and realized that everything can be done without them and they are very minimal buffs at best minus 1-2, but just want some confirmation to see if it's worth repeating to get certain atmacites for people if we don't get it the first time when going to farm up T4 pops.
I too would like to start VW soon. Should I read this entire thread, or is there a more organized and concise guide somewhere?
BG Wiki is a very good source.
I pulled everything from this thread onto BG wiki, and I think there have been a few additions by people since then:
https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:Voidwatch
On that note, we're missing strategy notes for:
Cottus, Pancimanci, and Ogbunabali
If our more hardcore contributors to this thread wanted to look through all the strategy notes and add stuff, that'd be awesome.
Pancimanci is that the mandy? Just imagine fighting chloris without atma at lvl 80.
Not sure how to add stuff to BG wiki but my group fought Murk-veined Baneberry for the first time last night and noticed some stuff left off the BG-Wiki.
Under 50% he started casting Breakga and Death. Ritual Bond was followed by teleporting around and attempting to Throat Stab people just like the Bloodeye Vileberry in Abyssea. We never saw Ritual Bond until it was below 50% either.
Also fought Melancholic Moira 2 times. Are all of her Breaths radial? We had an incident where EBB didn't show up in a stunners chat log and it went off. Both tanks went down despite being on opposite sides of her, positioned front and back.
EBB has always been AoE, and it may be NPC self-targetted (so you need to have actions by NPCs unfiltered in order to see it). Thanks for the info, I'll toss it up there.
As far as Pancimanci being like Chloris: Hundred Fists = Hate reset, Fatal Scream, High damage Head Butts, Graviga?
On Pancimanci, dream flower suppresses hate until the targets are awakened and take an action on it. I'm not sure it even uses hundred fists. It does some -ga spells, nothing to really be worried about though.
Cottus is pretty much Briarius, nothing really special about him.
Kholomodumo as expected is much like Hadhayosh with Accursed Armor (Curse spikes) and Amnesic Blast (cone Amnesia + damage).
Meteobolt (Thunderbolt -> Meteor) and Ecliptic Meteor don't become active until it's below 50%.
Fuck the drop rates on T4s. We have hundreds and hundreds of chest pops and 0 bodies, 0 quad necks.
Okay, thanks guys. I've hashed out very rough pages for Pancimanci and Cottus and updated the other ones.
Wiki editting isn't hard, by the way. I use ~6 rules to do all my wiki-ing:
1) Click the "Edit" button at the top of the page. We use Templates to make life easier, so you (sometimes) end up with gibberish unless you click the top.
2) * = bullet point.
3) ** = sub-bulletpoint.
4) [[Something]] = Link to a page on wiki named Something.
5) [http://url Words Words (Name, Website)] = External link to http://url with the text "Words words (Name, Website)" which is the format I've been using for citations.
6) If you need more complicated formatting, a table, something else, etc. = Copy and Paste that shit. I'm all about internal format pillaging. Observe this complicated formatting thing made by someone else and then this page I made last night/this morning. Pillaging accomplished.
Now that you've read that, you know pretty much everything I know
at least 500 boxes have been opened. so far we got 5 bodies and 1 quad neck lol
T3 seem better, we did tonberry today and got 6 neck 1 GS in 18x3 boxes....
of course, i didnt get any shit and have to consider buying a collar from AH (2m atm zzzz)
hope today's update include weakness-to-person message........
shit is annoying to determine at times ._.
They could have worded this better. I assume the boosts to full-spectrum alignment will apply to everyone and not just the players who infilcit the damage or the THF.- A new alignment bonus called Synchronic Blitz has been added, which grants players who inflict damage on a weakened enemy a full-spectrum alignment boost based upon the percentage of the monster’s HP depleted.
- A minor full-spectrum alignment bonus based upon the player's Treasure Hunter effect level will now be granted upon defeating an enemy.
Otherwise it's going to suck for mages.
Im more interested in this +_+Changes have been made to what spoils players may receive from riftworn pyxides upon defeating enemies.
