Shout groups also make it harder due to the fact that people most likely dont have the temp item abbysites that make procing, getting mp back, etc a lot faster and easier.

Combine this with most players lacking skill after being spoiled by abyssea VW can seem tough.

In terms of clearing Voidwrought, procs irrelevant, what's the minimum it would be possible with? We've managed Hahava and Celaeno with less than a party, but Voidwrought seemed to be a bit more annoying.

Would PLD SMN SMN WHM BLM (stun) suffice?

Could work. The problem with Voidwrought mostly is the last ~30ish percent where he starts to favor ballistic kick and eradicator over and over and over make that whm/blm and it shouldn't be an issue just be sure to keep constant dmg on it. Key is to just kill it quick at less than 50% if you don't care about procs. You probably know that already though.

Wondering if anyone else is having this issue...

Just completed getting the three tier IV Abyssites, along with the corresponding titles.


However, I was unable to get the cut scene at the Vertical Conflux.


I was able to get the CS on my mule, we took part in the exact same fights/same wins etc.

I posted this issue in RQT, you haven't entered WOE in Xarc [S]. For whatever reason, that is a requirement.

You been into WoE before on your main via the Xarc[S] flux? Someone on here claimed you needed it for the CS. Will see for myself when I finish the T4s on my mule since he's never been there yet.

Also, FFXI devs can't do math. 100% White isn't a 100% chance at KI apparently.

Actually, a lot of shit in VW been busted/wonky ever since the update that introduced blitz. Magic hints been a royal pain in the arse on some NMs, such as the one above, or Belphoebe, or Celaeno, etc... We talking zero red hints for the majority of the fight, even when knocking out blue hints.

Before I was pointed to the WOE flux, I tried all manners of changing title, being in or out of pt, going naked, waiting for a specific time of day, waiting for weather to end, and zoning over and over and over.

Does anyone know if you kill only one of the T1 NMs, then u kill a T2 NM, then u kill the other T1 NM, can you upgrade your abyssite to III?

As far as I'm aware, you only get credit for the kills on your current tier.

I couldn't upgrade my mule's Bastok KI from 1->3 after I finished the other half of 1, and I know I killed the T2 Slime prior with him as he has both of the temporary-item KIs.

yea u need to do the orders specifically (except T1 and T3 where u can do either first, but must complete both)

But...I tanked a Caelano today on my BRD after a bad set of TP moves killed me on PLD.

Only thing is, I ran out of range on my BRD while it was still claimed, ran back in and still had hate. Caelano sat there attacking me (without doing any damage) and I effectively held it for a little over a minute until someone was smart and pulled hate on it while I was unweakening, ending the run. One in a million or next salvage dupe?

I'm just questioning why your DDs don't have a Fanatics rotation in place to hold while tank is weakened.

You can't compare Celaeno to Tunga though. Any characters with the effect of "slow" on them will have zero hate on Tunga, so I assume everyone in your party was slowed? In that case he switches targets constantly, and can't move at all.
