I believe Kaleidoscopic fury also resets all JA to their max timer.

Yeah it does, I knew i was leaving out something
Yeah there have been times where it was H2H while I was on MNK and it wasn't Combo through Smite, so all that was left was Final Heaven or Stringent Pummel
We've had this situation occur where unless the first hit on Multi-hit WS land, It will not count. It's happened in Abyssea, and Voidwatch. Had to do Asuran Fists 8 times in a row on Pantokrator before it'd proc, all were clean, but lacking the first hit. So be very wary when proc'ing H2H.... it can be a pain...
Unless the odds are horribly skewed in favor of non-mythic/relic/empyrean weapon skills, those weapon skills aren't procs. Something like Phraust suggests above is far more likely. I've done hundreds of Voidwatch battles and I can count the instances of not being able to proc a weapon skill for which we had all non-relic/mythic/empyrean WSes on one FINGER. But we have had cases where we've had to try the same weapon skills more than once and they proc'ed the second time around, which would support Phraust's theory above if they were multi-hit WSes (which I don't remember, but will look out for in the future).
I know I asked this earlier, and one person reported that someone got a single off Zilart, but can anyone confirm that Jeuno T3 drops pouches of heavy metal plates? All accounts I'm seeing indicate that Jeuno drops singles only (not pouches). I'd think someone would have gotten a pouch by now if it were possible.
Apparently Twilight Scythe attacks and Quick Draw damage go through Pil's barrier, and apparently if you deal ~1000 damage through the barrier it goes off. Can anyone verify?
Yeah, normally I'm not interested in poidh, but in this case... poidh. Actually, I'd probably need to see multiple screenshots showing mythic/relic/empyrean weapon skills proc-ing to even begin to convince me because I've done so much VW and never seen it happen once. The number of potentially legitimate reports of this happening after the update where they added the name of the person who proc'ed into the log has been extremely low compared to what I would expect to see if they were actually procs.
I don't have a screenshot (didn't know it was rare), but Jimbob and everyone else in my linkshell that was there at the fight can back me up on this; all of the other sword WSs (except Knights of the Round) had been tried, so they asked me to Death Blossom it, which then procced.
Was it chapter 2 VW by any chance? I'm not ruling out the possibility of an additional layer of triggering BS for it given the lvl-cap update introducing new triggering candidates, as well as possibly adding relic/mythic/emp BS to the list.
It was on Holy Moly, so yeah, chapter 2.
I have a similar feeling to what you're thinking..
and it excites me because the fights that I've tried thus far are actually pretty fun..
Qilin for one, even though I did it in a JP pug, was about one of the most fun and strategic end-game fights I've done in a while. Qilin itself is pretty easy but the adds waste a lot of time.. especially Bai Hu with its flash aura.
Also another thing I foresee is that CoP VW will also feature a neo-AV battle.. except without the insanity of timing 2hrs.. kinda like how Qilin is toned down by not having a 2hr. And then part 4 will probably see VW going to ToAU and neo-PW fight. would be awesome.
