2/2 on T4 killshots booya
is Hahava the fourarmed man? did you take pics? video? i wanna see!
Celaeno:
Rending talons: single target, low damage
Shrieking gale: full dispel, low damage aoe.
Wings of Agony: 3 shadows, high damage aoe (physical). Sleep and para added effects, don't always proc.
Wings of Woe: goes through shadows, plague / silence, high damage aoe
Ravenous Wail: goes through shadows, high damage aoe.
Typhoean rage: aoe damage, goes through shadows, encumbrance + muddle (no items.
One of the moves also does mp damage, not sure which. The aoe all seemed about 10' range.
It casts silencega, slowga, and has a aeroga 3 / ga4 / ja progression
Only managed one trigger each, no atmacite, but I got a phineus' gun on the second (had a 200% red trigger).
do u still get exp / cruor / pyxis when NMs drop nothing?
Are you guys jizzing up the procs to load up on red/blue loot lights? Because clearly as the pages have shown just killing it you shouldn't expect much.
also by no drop you mean in the chest right? cos i was under the assumption all VW nms drop nothing and spoils are only from the pyxis, unless I am mistaken about this
It's a delicate balance between having the jobs to proc and actually killing some of them, at least on the first time. On our first run through we've been more focused on actually killing them and seeing what they're capable of although we've still tried to proc with the jobs we've had; just not much luck with it. In fact, the ones that we actually have proc'd; things have gone wrong and low HP timeouts occurred or something of the like. It's pretty safe at this point to say you need to proc something to see an actual drop though and that's not at all surprising. And yeah, by no drop I mean garbage chest drops.
heads up to people interested..
a JP wiki lists Ushumgal dropping accursed belt and the vivid periapt of exploration..
thats the 7% haste belt that pld and drk can wear btw.. not sure how good it might be considering theres twilight and bullwhip too.
but also, it gives a semi-confirmation that Tier 1 NMs of each jurisdiction drop the same periapt
anyway, if theres one NM u might want to practice figuring out stagger on, that could be the one lol.
just a heads up for people wanting upgrade
MAKE SURE YOU PARTICIPATE THE OPS WITH THE RESPECTIVE NPC!
We had cases where some people forgot to take any ops, but killed psiete and npc still says "go to North gusta for ops", we killed worm for them and then NPC says Gusgen, so at least this means the NPC does recorded your kills but whether it will upgrade the abyssite is unknown....but just to be 100% sure, make sure all ur members do take the ops
ps. taking ops and taking rock is 2 different thing, you can participate the ops(to flag ur kills) by not taking any rocks
We got red up to 500% on Sallow Seymour, with no message about it capping.
So far our staggers have been:
Sallow Seymour #1 - Burning Blade, Spirit Taker.
Sallow Seymour #2 - Fire 3, Tachi: Jinpu, Shining Blade, Aspir 2, Lightning Threnody.
Ushumgal - Tachi: Rana, Firaga 3, Spirit Taker, Leg Sweep, Sturmwind.
Lorbulcrud - Blizzard 3, Sanguine Blade, Magic Finale, Earth Threnody.
bah.. apparently blogger had some kind of maintenance so when I last edited my post it didn't actually update..
anyway.. new version of chart up, with loads more information now.
http://wilddragonchase.blogspot.com/...ch-part-i.html
easy information that i need to get from u guys who are on tier 4.. base exp/cruor from the NMs. (which is calculated by the amounts you get divided by yellow/green light % for exp and cruor respectively). Khiin provided the first 3 tiers already :D im guessing t4 is *6500 based on trend (edit:math fail +500)
also, drops, but that will probably come after we figure out staggering better..
there are 3 general groups of staggers, but only 2 hint abyssite, tho its possible one of them could take on hints for two types..
the 3 groups are
-ws / pet attacks
-ja specific to 1 job
-specific element of magic
i'm assuming each of them represents a different visual !! trigger (which we know as red, blue and grellow, and SE officially calls ruby, azure and amber)
however, each of these visual !!s don't just add to one spectral alignment. However, this often seems to be the result of 'devastate' staggers, which is probably what happens when a 'highly vulnerable' weakness is exploited.
so for better studying purposes, i'd request for people to list the following things..
-discernment followed (if any was shown prior to what u did, or if you followed it) - take note of vulnerable or highly vulnerable
-what was used to stagger.
-visual stagger color. for the sake of differentiation, ill call them by what SE calls them. ruby, azure and amber.
-stagger message. does it say 'your attack staggers the fiend' or 'your attack devastates the fiend'
-light increase. if you're not screenshotting it, then you should list the increments (the ones in brackets) unless the alignments are already capped.
supposedly blue caps at 350, green/yellow at 225 and white 100.
so a template if you will.
Discern:

Visual Color:

additional info you could supply: day, time and maybe moonphase lol
do post here or in the discernment thread XD
also, to anyone who has all 3 abyssite at stage IV, could you try checking the veridical conflux in pashhow [s] near telepoint for possible CS?
other than that, does abyssite growth vaguely remind anyone of FF13s crystarium? they even officially refer to it in "stages"
T4 is 6500 xp/cruor base, 9750 with 150% green/yellow
Incorrect, the extra xp/cruor comes from cells and staggers. It doesn't start at +100%, it starts at 100%, so a 1.0 multiplier.
