We've given up on Botulus Rex for now... waiting to hear how some other people have dealt with chainspell meteor and its stupid enmity decay.

He doesn't seem to Dispel, and does a nice HP Down Effect (seems to be roughly 25% and is irritating to get rid of cause half your Erase get Bio from Aura). Seems like a recipe for Shell-less Scherzero and Earthen Armor to handle his spells. And maybe his TP moves.

No clue wtf his enmity gimmick is though; it's ridiculous.

Guy's a bit of a dick without a couple of on-the-ball stunners for Yama's Judgment.

What's the strategy for Kalasutrax? Even with stunning every Yama's Judgement, can't seem to take this guy down.

Seems to be something that causes him to take far decreased physical damage, to the effect of 200~ dmg Jishnu's Radiance, Ukko's Fury, Tachi: Shoha, etc.. Hm.

MDT is not removed by weakness.

JP's on Quetz just killed Rex. Dual PLD to bounce hate, RNG (Wildfire) & SMN (Fenrir) for damage, and usual proc jobs. Melee's ran in to ws, none stayed on the mob. Sorry, didn't ask about drops.

Edit: So I was noticing that Riftdross drops off Ig-Alima but does it drop across all stage 6 Voidwatch? Or are we looking at Ig-Alima dropping Riftdross and Botulus Rex dropping Riftcinder exclusively.

uh pretty much the only way we could kill it was by spamming light sc's all day and bringing a bunch of blms (wildfire works pretty well too)

the -pdt is too much for the melee to bring down.
(i use gungnir and drakesbane and most of the time i could barely get past 100, sometimes i would get 300-400 from weapon procs and armor set procs)

Personal observation, goes up shortly after Raksha Stance then goes down at seemingly random intervals for no apparent reason. Staggering doesn't remove -MDT or -PDT.
