Because it is Grim Reaper.
Its polish word (Im polish btw) which actually is typed like this "Śmierć" which literally means "Death" and is also used to call Grim Reaper ( which in literal translation is "Posępny Kosiarz" but that is almost never used over "Śmierć" )

Botolus Rex and Ig-Alima are 10000 xp/cruor.

Gaunab, Ocythoe, and Kalasutrax are 7500 xp/cruor

Just attempted Botulus Rex for the 1st time. At 85%, we took it down to 79% and it didn't even Chainspell. Then it proceeded to destroy us as we couldn't get any triggers. Does this thing have PDT or MDT in some way? As our DD's were hitting for 0's on occasion. At 75% we gave up as we only had 10 min left. We had an Aegis / Almace and his Cdc's were hitting for under 300. His hate decay is a major problem. Can anyone offer any tips for Jabba the Hutt? XD

Also, is there any use for Stoertebeker?

I attempted to tank Botulus and that fucking thing hits insanely hard -_- shield block with aegis still did 1.1k to me, what the fuck was SE thinking? even in full PDT if a cure didn't go off before his next attack I'd have died, moment fanatics goes down and sentinel goes down I was pretty much fucked, had scherzo but no earthen armor cause I guess they went afk when we pop'd and never came back >_>;

We did Ocythoe a couple times last night. That special move (Keraunos Quill), is AoE damage, para, and encumbrance in the weapon slot. I don't think it uses Typhoean Rage at all- never saw it in the two times we fought it. It does have Wings of Woe, however (Aello didn't have Wings of Woe).

Spread out and don't rush damage. Steady damage > spikes to keep the PLDs at the top of the hate list.

I don't have the clear, but the groups that have been killing aren't exactly stellar. (maybe thats the secret) Aegis PLDs with no gear swaps for example and Emp DDs that WS in TP gear.

Lyramion ran some tests and found that the hidden effect was disappointment, at least for SMN. I don't know if anyone has nuked with it yet though, so that would be worth trying.

Uh, it has additional effect: fire damage guys. It's not a hidden effect--it's an amazing effect.

Is there someone who actually killed Botulus Rex more than once ? i'm looking for a good strat because even with some Wildfire cors and proc's, we always wipe around 50% due to lack of proc's and hate reset (on melee hit or due to tp move).

I did it with JPs last night, 3/4 wins on one run and 4/4 on the other. 2 Aegis PLDs spread apart tanking; save white proc for ~10-12%, have a few relic/empyrean COR or RNGs because Coronach/Namas/Wildfire were tearing it up and for so little hate gain. Toss Fool's Drink up when it chainspells and use that time to rape it. It honestly wasn't that difficult; even as a PLD, hate reset is merely annoying, it just requires extra work ;( The other thing I noticed they did it kind of spread out their staggers so they weren't triggered all at once; saving HQs that were somewhat easy to do when they needed them, etc.
