I can't wear heels, never enjoyed or saw a need to wear them so I never bothered. I have some slightly higher heel boots but they've got a decent heel on them which I feel vaguely stable on so that's as far as I go. Most the time I live in my doc martens or I have some slightly classier boots and shoes for special occasions. All flat though. I also love my birkenstock flip-flop sandal things, though I need a new pair this summer.

I agree with Demo's list though, but a new entry for me this year is tunics. Loving tunics. They're a more cool-weather-friendly summer dress which you can wear over jeans, and I like the V-neck cut of them. Looking forward to summer dress weather though, but it's not quite there yet in London. I've also gone a bit crazy over Cath Kidstone collared shirts and prints in Uniqlo this spring. I'm just pleased because for once there are some shops I can go into and actually feel as though I will find something that suits me (like Uniqlo and Fat Face). I suck at fashion, but I'm making a concerted effort to move away from the jeans+tshirt girl I usually am.

Fucking hate leggings. Jeggings are worse. Ugh ugh ugh. Why do chav chicks insist on wearing them with short tshirts? ewwwww no thanks.

Some outfits demand something like heels, while possible it is hard to find any non heel shoes that go with an evening dress. Thankfully everything works with long skirts and sundresses... except certain kind of sneakers, aka running shoes.
