    At least it's the guaranteed augment for the hat, so it wouldn't be too bad to get the highest value (I'm assuming it's 4 and maybe 5 on Valkyrie).

    Yeah, but it's shadow hat lol. Getting a decent augment on it wouldn't be hard but doing doing Einherjar again for an item that may or may not take months to get will be annoying. That doesn't include the fact that getting the tatters afterwards may be rough depending on how many people in your group have interest in the synergy augments. Hopefully SE revamps the NM/entry conditions for sky and Einherjar in the future to make obtaining the materials for augmenting a bit easier.

    tried 14 wym tatters on blood scale mail today

    of the 2 hq3 results i recieved
    7 str 4 agi 2 haste
    8 acc 4 chr 2 haste

    i would of kept one of them but.. i couldnt think of a possible use for it lol

    the rejected hq2/hq1 augments were always paired with haste mostly acc/agi/chr (i didnt keep track sorry)

    The nice thing about this system is that you can take augments you like and keep trying for better stuff. You don't get stuck with inventory -1 if you later decide you can't find a use for the piece. Just drop the augmented item into the furnace and you will be prompted to start a recipe to remove the augments to get your original, slippable piece of gear back! The best part about the recipe is that almost everyone with synergy can do it with no problems. It's Initiate rank and the balance is usually around 9.

    and that's exactly what i did last night ( first i checked to see if i could store it in the slip aug'd . . . no can do)

    Hmmm, there are pics surfacing on FFXIAH.com of Shura Haidate +1 with STR +5 on them. Another one had AGI +6. Neither of them had a third augment though.

    EDIT: Disregard the AGI part lol. I thought +6 was a new cap for it.

    Has anyone gotten an HQ3 that has two augments from the random pool? I wonder if it adds a second identical augment slot, or one slot that's forced to be a 1-in-4.

    Long ways back on the first page, a Kirin's Osode with Genbu Scrap upgrade was reported as getting...

    "ice+6 wind+4 regen+1 hq3"

    There might be other examples in this thread but that was the first one that I saw. I don't think I've seen it happen myself, but the odds should be low of it happening (like <5% on any given HQ3).

    Yeah. I had a few HQ3 Shura heads with 2 Resist status traits. I don't have the list anymore so I don't know exactly which 2 it was on each one.

    On BG Wiki, is there any reason you chose to not show the pool of four common augments for each piece on the "Tatter and Scrap Synergy" main page? Also, why is there no section for Kirin's Osode and Kirin's Pole?

    I haven't made the Kirin pages yet, sorry. That's just laziness on my part. xD I will make them presently. If you would like to make them, it's important to hit "Edit" at the top of the page rather than on the section heading. A lot of the things BGwiki uses are Templates, so hitting the section heading gets you some meaningless page to exit.

    I made the main page before it was obvious that the 1-in-4 augments existed, and haven't had time to go re-format it. I'm not a master-level wiki user yet, so I'm not quite sure how I can do it without making it ugly. I was away at a wedding/visiting GF's family all weekend, and I have a big report due on Wednesday/a lot to do at work.

    Edit: Made the pole page, making the Osode page. I remember why I didn't finish making them. They come out ugly. It's the same reason that I haven't made the Scraps/Tatters recipes yet. I will finish Osode in a bit. >:/

    It's okay, and I didn't take it as such. It has been on my Sandbox page To-Do list for some time. I put them up and send Septimus a PM about the formatting as its beyond my wiki-powers to fix.

    ^ This. I've never used BG Wiki before this past update, but with the split that happened with the other wikis, BG wiki has the most/best consolidated information about the new stuff.

    Septimus gets credit for all the major updates. I've just been scraping BG and updating the wiki as it seems people originally intended. Most of you guys do the hard work for me by aggregating the information in threads like this.

    Some Shadow (not Valkyrie) Helm augments from JP Wiki

    INT +3
    MP +8 ~ 18
    Resist Lightning +2
    Enmity +3
    Resist Stun +3
    Magic damage taken -2%
    Refresh +1

    Looks like MDT-, Refresh, MP, and Enmity+ are in the pool of four or guaranteed, so one's missing (maybe INT). They have all the augments lumped together so I can't tell which the guaranteed one is. Interestingly, this leaves open the possibility of refresh+2 (or higher?) head on Valkyrie.

    Cool. Are those each individual helms? Which is the forced augment? It looks like you got three HQs and four unique augments.

    I got crit dmg 4% on a byakkos today, with HQ2 only. Maybe possible to get crit 5% on HQ3 hrm?
    I did 13 augs today on my pants, got 4% crit 3x, so lucky. Been trying for others but most I could get them was 3%.
