You'll just have to pay attention and swap it in when mages give a stupid party chat about protectra and shellra!

What's really annoying about it at the moment is since resources isn't updated, every time I hit a macro with the earring on spellcast would crash, and if I had earring on and tried to do a multibox command with spellcast loaded it crashed the client. Had to repose the stupid mob while I logged back in twice before I figured out to unload spellcast.

Doesn't onevent let you do things based on text like stun certain moves when mobs use them? Couldn't you make it basically do same thing but for when PCs do something?

Doing Ve'Lugannon Page 1 atm. It started at 2300ish, up to 4302 so far. Kind of slow since we haven't found a decent route yet that's nice and tight like Ifrit's Cauldron. Are the pages similar in Ru'Avitau? Weapon burn pts like the old days would be really good if there are similar pages for weapons and arcana.

Update: Friend was doing page 2 (7 weapons) while I was doing page 1 (10 arcana) to see what the caps are. Page 1 seemed to cap at 3800. I passed out before I could finish seeing what cap was, but I made it to 4493 before I logged out in zone. Will finish up soon.

Pages always cap at double the base. If you started at 2300, you end at 4600. I assume you meant Page 2 caps at 3800, which means it starts at 1900.

The pages are similar in Ru'Avitau. I think that could be really good xp, not that it really matters that much anymore. Not only that, but you can just agro everything and cleave it for a ton of xp at once.

Finally got my Liminus Earring after about 10 hours of farming.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an area to farm pages as fast as possible in Ru'avitau? I'm thinking the big main room, but not sure if there's a better place.

Oh, yes. Sorry, that was the sleep kicking in. I didn't make note of what the starting exp value was, which was why I kept trying to make sure and make note of. Good to know it's always double though. Haven't done much GoV before this update. Cap for page 1 is 4780 btw.

I'm just aggroing detectors and killing the aura gears that pop myself, doing the 7 doll family page. Might not be the fastest but its simple and easy.
