Sky only took me about 2ish hours so I decided to go get the ring too.

Big fucking mistake as that took about 20+ish hours.

Going for the skillup rings/earrings is a total waste of time if your goal is actually to skill up faster. If you want to do GoV and don't care about the other items, then going for the skillup rings/earrings while you GoV can save you some time in the long run.

Regardless you shouldn't be trying to get skillup items for skilling up "now" because the universe will take a giant shit on you. Byrth's logic is best. Go there with a general purpose, with the possible bonus to get an item to help skillups you might need in the future.

Grapevine is 400k, Katars 500k, Numan Staff 2m, Wizzan Grip 1m, thats it. everything else is EX or less than 400k.

Depending on the server, some of the PUP attachments might go up to a million. I got a Percolator out of a casket, which goes for 800k on my server.

That's actually pretty nice for jobs that have an extremely easy time capping PDT. RDM comes to mind.

The base defense is considerably higher than other headgear RDM has available to it, and Darksteel Cap+1 is largely unimpressive if you can cap PDT in other slots.

So if Byrthnoth's premise is "If you want to do GoV", as he said, then the best logic is to get the best benefit out of it, gil or a good item. His logic works if it's more along the lines of "if you have to be in the zone anyway" like NM hunting, but that's not what he said.

What is the range on each of the mystery boxes kupo power? There are some zones that confuse me =/ and wiki looks outdated when it comes to treasure caskets and kupo powers for some reason.

Found the boneworking torque in The Temple of Uggalepih hoping they had added the cooking torque in the zone hocho drops, but now i know cooking torque isnt even in the game yet...

No one fucking farms grapevine capes on my server, I sold two already just leveling my NPC there for 2mil, and 1.5mil. I could make a killing if I weren't too lazy (I do have to cap my NPC again!)

i was strolling through kuftal one day, three or four robber crabs later i opened a gold crate and got the grip

few months prior to then, i went on a hardcore three day grind for melaco mittens in bostaunieux oubliette only to walk out with like two xanthos cells and a ton of other ~5k items that literally filled my satchel/sack/inventory altogether

in short: fuck gov (unless it's for a craft torque) <call>
