Tried Fei'yin..... for 1min.

Mobs (and pages says also) are ~lvl95+, and each little rooms East of map 1st floor is filled with like 6 Ghosts southeast rooms, or 6 bats norteast rooms.

Needless to say it is a nightmare to pull without links, and .... my THF90 got raped in less than 5secs (bat crit for 355!!). Didnot try Ghost, but can imagine the potency of their nukes < <

In case anyone was wondering, you can get the ring from level 1 mobs in Zeruhn Mines. Everyone was camping the GoV mobs, so on the way out I hit a Ding Bat and then:

If it's anything like the Fishing rings, it probably doubles the chance of a skill-up by adding another possibility for a skill-up to proc. So could go...

You hit the mob for some damage.
Your club skill raises 0.5 points.
Your club skill raises 0.4 points.
You hit the mob for some damage.

...as the fishing ring does.

I suspect it works the same way as the Prowess with the same effect. Probably equivalent to level 1. It's impossible for me to really say how well it works because almost all my skills are capped, but ~150 mobs and I've gotten 3 0.2 Parrying skillups against DC/EM mobs (283->284) with level 2 Prowess. It took me 20 merits in Altepa multi-pulling mandies (~10 per pull) to get a single 0.4 skillup.

Spent all day yesterday in Fei'Yin and never once came across Dagda's Shield, only mats, meds, rubicund cells, and errant slops. Haven't seen any real confirmation that it comes from a chest there so I'm going to wait until I see proof. Plus, it being only rare and not rare/ex like everything else new from chests is making me think that it comes from somewhere else.

7 1/2 hours and 8 levels on SAM later the brown caskets in Garliage Citadel had Maple log, Malboro vine, Silver beastcoin, Hi-ether +1, Pro-ether +1, Pro-ether +3, Bag of fruit seeds, Koenigs knuckles and a Hi-elixir.

Of course what this doesn't prove is whether or not this is the same likelihood of getting it from higher mobs. Just spent 2 days in Fei'yin, finally got Dagda's shield, was off the lvl 99 pots though, and I hadn't been doing those the whole time. Basically spammed page 6 till I got lvl 5 treasure casket discovery and switched to bats/pots.

Likewise! what is up with these stupid bsts charming ding bats, like wtf? There's like 3 bsts doing it for no reason. One even failed charm at 90 and made me lul.
