I read this thread this morning, and on my way home I took the same route I always do. Only this time when I drive by the enormous church/academy that has a electronic sign outside displaying messages it says "readings for the prophecy, plan for May 21st" on it....I drive by this wingnut academy/church every day

I wonder if they would consider changing the date of the rapture to may 25th, this way i can celebrate my 26th birthday on may 24th.

hahaha...I was just clicking on this thread when I got a text message from our local alternative radio station here in portland. It said "Zombie sightings in ptown! text (radio station text #) the location where zombies have been spotted for a chance to win an ipad 2!"

I know it's because of the friday the 13th thing, but the coincidence was hilarious. Maybe the day of judgment has come a week early?

If I ran one of those reality TV companies I'd get a bunch of believers and put them in the same house to be follow as they prepared for the rapture. Kind of like the real world show or w/e, or Jersey Shore bible style.

I'd have the house on a special lot whereby using hydraulics you could simulate an earth quake at the appropriate time.

I'd put 2-3 actors in the house with them from the very start. Then at rapture time have them go into another room where they would be removed from the house unseen and piles of clothes, jewlery, phones etc. left in their place.

After that, give the believers enough time to check the other room and discover their housemates have been raptured while they were left behind. Give some more time for them to freak out followed by the big reveal that it was all a put on.
