FFXI is a vast game though, and if you look for what personally reminds you of BG, things will get really interesting

Obviously put an Amanomurakumo in an Aegis, Sword in the Stone style with a Yoichinoyumi hanging off of the Amano. Bonus points if you work in an Excalibur in the distance.

Heres how I've spent my day at placement (I actually wasted all my time trying to make a nation-like flag for BG, I got pissed off and gave up though). I'm submitting it now so I stop tinkering and get on with some work!

When I think of BG I still primarily think of FFXI, it's where the forum started and although its branched out to other things, FFXI is still BGs roots. The image that comes to my head is Bahamut, I don't know if he used to be on a BG banner? But I just instantly think of him and hes a good symbol of power - so I went that route. Using his dragon figure is also not *too* FFXI specific as it could be any random dragon to an outsider.

I wanted an image with Bahamut being killed, showing BG's force. At first he was going into flames, but it was too complex. Simple is always better so he ended up having a sword 'stabbing' him to symbolize killing him, or at least controlling him. Having BGs logo as his head also ticks the 'look badass' box ;P

not really, but recognizable relics or other recognizable things from FFXI, Dragoon helmet, wyvern, the airship, etc all work very well and people who play recognize them immediately
