Cancelled 2011 TV Shows (Lie to me inside)

    http://www.tv.com/whats-renewed-what...ner;news_story
    CANCELED/ENDING
These shows have either been axed by their networks or decided to ride off into the sunset on their own.

All My Children (ABC) ... The daytime soap opera is going the way of the dinosaur, the dodo, and Eddie Murphy.
Better With You (ABC) ... Canceled.
Big Love (HBO) ... Just finished its fifth and final season.
Breaking In (Fox) ... Is it the Christian Slater curse or the Bret Harrison curse?
Brothers & Sisters (ABC) ... Was rumored to be coming back, but it just didn't happen.
    Caprica (Syfy) ... Canceled-prica.
The Chicago Code (Fox) ... Just didn't have the viewership to keep going.
The Closer (TNT) ... Final season premieres July 14. TNT is currently working on a possible spin-off.
    Detroit 1-8-7 (ABC) ... 187'd, yo.
Entourage (HBO) ... The upcoming eighth season will be its last.
The Event (NBC) ... But what will happen to Sean Walker and Vicky's potential romance?
Friday Night Lights (DirecTV/NBC) ... Final season already aired on DirecTV, will begin airing on NBC in April.
Glory Daze (TBS) ... Canceled after one season.
The Good Guys (Fox) ... Hope you already said your goodbyes to the Good Guys, because this one is long gone.
Human Target (Fox) ... On the wrong side of the bubble after escaping cancellation last year.
In Treatment (HBO) ... Canceled, but its storylines could continue in "a new format."
Law & Order: Criminal Intent (USA) ... Final season begins in May.
Law & Order: Los Angeles (NBC) ... DONE-DONE.
Lie to Me (Fox) ... Truthfully? This really didn't stand a chance.
Life Unexpected (CW) ... It should be noted that The CW hasn't officially canceled the program, but showrunner Liz Tigelaar has said that it won't be coming back and several cast members have moved on to other projects, including Britt Robertson to the high-profile Secret Circle.
Lights Out (FX) ... Canceled after just one season.
Lone Star (Fox) ... Canceled last fall, just two episodes into its short life.
Medium (CBS) ... This one is already gone, dude.
Mr. Sunshine (ABC) ... Mr. Sunshine, Meet Mrs. Darkness.
No Ordinary Family (ABC) ... These TV heroes were powerless against ruthless TV execs.
Off the Map (ABC) ... Now it's waaayyyyyyy off the map. These things just write themselves!
One Life To Live (ABC) ... This show only got 10,000 episodes! Give it time to develop!
Outsourced (NBC) ... Its departure opens the door for a new "non-racist racist comedy."
The Paul Reiser Show (NBC) ... You barely even gave him a chance.
Rescue Me (FX) ... Airing its final season this summer.
Running Wilde (Fox) ... A massive disappointment that ended in cancellation.
Secret Diary of a Call Girl (Showtime) ... Just debuted its fourth and final season. Won't be back.
Smallville (The CW) ... The tenth and final season ends in May. Won't be back.
Stargate Universe (Syfy) ... Canceled. But at least Face Off was renewed! Right?
Terriers (FX) ... Don't even get us started.
Traffic Light (Fox) ... Red means stop.
V (ABC) ... We'll miss you Queen Anna.
Fucking canceling lie to me and Chicago code. Both awesome shows wtf. Also they canceled Law and order for that LA shit and now they are canceling it to.

I'm hoping Nikita isn't being cancelled. There are a still a handful of CW shows that haven't been renewed / cancelled

At this point, I don't really care one way or the other, but Netflix is supposedly in talks to continue production of The Event.

Really will only miss Mr. Sunshine out of that list. It wasn't amazing, but another or even a single full season would have given it a chance to develop.

So that leaves SVU as the last Law & Order standing? Dang, it's been a while since there was only one L&O show on the air.

Pretty much which is kind of disappointing. But I guess there must be a substantial following for the show. I watch it on icefilms or something when I'm bored but I've never really loved the show.

I've been watching The Event every week on DVR, but it's not really a show I go out of my way to watch. It's OK, but I don't think I'll miss it if it's gone. I think the season (now series) finale is next week?

Was 'V' really that bad? I knew quite a few people who watched it religiously, but never watched it myself.

It was bad lol. I watched it, but it was like watching Heroes after season 2. You watch it even though you know its terrible. Acting was bad, and mini-sub plots changed around so much that there were tons of plot holes. I still enjoyed watching it though

Watching V was one of those shows with enough potential that every week you say, "well that was ass, maybe next week will be awesome." It was finally true for the last episode. :/

Law & Order: UK will probably continue on BBC America. It's VERY good too.

Yes. But the new Criminal Intent's airing at the moment are very good. SVU will be undergoing some changes though for next season it seems like.

I was disappointed to see it on the list too. It wasn't super funny or anything, but it was better than most comedies on tv.

I agree, the show wasn't awesome but I loved Tim Roth's acting...I mean, it was a good show all in all but after one season it did get quite repetitive except for the wow-episode every now and then (the one in Iraq comes to mind).

I feel like cancellations are a large part of the reason why I won't watch any more new TV. At this rate anything I watch bounds to get shitcanned. Am I alone in wanting to get involved in a series that will be around for a while to fully jump the shark?

Also, House should have been canceled 6 seasons ago.

    lol network procedurals getting cancelled.

Mr Sunshine was funny idk why they cancelled it. The sitcom that replaced it is not much better. Also noticed after watching Studio 60 that half the cast of Mr Sunshine was from that aborted child of Sorkin's

I loved the Chicago code, it wasn't boring once and it was fast paced so that people couldn't complain about it being interesting. I think it had more to do with fox sticking it in a shitty timeslot. Shame, I hope it gets picked up by like USA or something.
