It is VERY easy to see all the positives that you can dream about if you and her were to marry, fall deeply in love, and live happily ever after. That's the fairy tail they tell all little girls. But seriously, you haven't even met her. It is completely asinine to believe you two will even match on a social, physical level. If at any point, which you inevitably will, you two will stop playing the game and then what, magically you have nothing to talk about? And to the answer to the OP...
It is completely NORMAL to be depressed. Given the time you've spent with her, I'd say upwards of 6-9 months is normal. How to cope with it? Tell her kindly that you wish her the best and you two need to stop talking. The more you talk with her, not only are you not getting over your depression, you're likely going to make it worse. You need to move on. You may even need to stop playing the game if it reminds you of her. That may be an entirely different subject of addiction depends on how far deep you are. (I've been there, had it ruin my life, etc...)

Good luck. When its all over, you will feel like a new person.

I didn't think about it that way, more in the sense that we already knew each other so well, the only issue would really be if our RL habits and smells or whatnot would cause a problem. I didn't, and still dont think that would have been an issue. Only issue was she needed to move here instead of putting me in a situation where I had to pick between her and everything else that was important to me. >_<
