Cept maybe Hydrocity in Sonic 3, that stage owned.

Speaking of Sonic 3... Carnival Nights barrel, WHAT THE FUCK MAN?! I did not figure that shit out until I was years older.
I hated those too, but could beat them 9/10. After beating that though, I was fucking lost, i never progressed too much further than that

Worst water levels ever.

I've never actually had the inclining to go back and play the game. My tolerance for side-scrollers is way lower now so I imagine my rage would only increase.
OoT's world is black and white. There's young link's world and adult link's world and that's it. Anyone that isn't involved with the main storyline is unlikely to acknowledge anything you've done, and everything is exceptionally static save a few NPCs that do little more than run around in circles.
MM has 2-4 states (First day/Second day/Final day/Final six hours, or area dungeon complete/incomplete, depending on where you are) for nearly every non-dungeon area and NPCs that actually acknowledge those changes in their environment. Not to mention the most intricate sidequests in any zelda game by far.
MM has some of the smoothest execution of time-based events I've ever seen in a video game, and the fact that people still refer to it as a "time limit" is laughable. Personally I liked OoT's dungeons more but there just isn't much to the game outside of that. MM's outside world just benefits so much from the 3-day system. Little things like the skulltulla guy rewarding you for clearing the beach spider house on day 1 and already being cursed if you come later wouldn't be possible under a different system, and those sorts of touches are absolutely everywhere in MM.
If the fact that Majora's Mask came with an expansion pack (Hint: Means it needed more memory than Ocarina of Time to accomplish what it set out to do) isn't a clear indication that it is more detailed, then you can refer to Thulius' post. I'm not downplaying Ocarina of Time at all, as I still prefer it over Majora's Mask but it is pretty damn hard to say Ocarina of Time is more intricate than Majora's Mask other than the amount of dungeons the former had.
Also: Fuck that Kafei's Mask sidequest.
ITT:
Bitches can't beat TMNT water level or the OoT one. Shit both of those were easy if you didn't suck at vidya.
hardest thing for me in water temple was the one song of time block hidden in the floor behind a chest.
I kind of want to break out my Gamecube now, as I have the special disk that contained the two Nintendo games+both N64 games.
Spiderman and the X-men: Nigga you 'bout ta Die... A Lot
