By being apathetic and self-referential you are only succeeding

I must stop encouraging you lest I am successful and you actually start trying to be inferior, in which case you become superior and we lose once more which means we win which means we lose. There's no way out here

Is it just me or are Ragnell's posts borking anyone else's forums?

And I mean like, a weird error bork. It's all scroll-y.

It's fixed now. But for awhile he was making the forums stroke off.

It's not that I can't beat them, i was just pointing out that no matter how many times I beat OoT, I always wander around the Water Temple for awhile before progressing any, shits confusing slightly at first.

Bitch, you didn't say shit about the Spiderman and the X-Men water stage. I take that to mean that either you haven't played that game or recognize that it's a bitch and a half. Either way, it's my win.

Maybe I just sucked at games as a kid but I thought it was one of the hardest games of all time back then... haven't played it since though. I don't think I ever actually beat it either.

I dunno about you Char but Cyclops was the hardest motherfucker for me to beat follow by Wolverine's stage. To this day, I dunno if I was hallucinating or not but I remember going under some levitated rock and that motherfucker fell on me out of nowhere. After that, I never wanted to play Cyclops again and I didn't for the longest time.

Wolverine's stage is the reason why I never liked Juggernaut until MyWayEntertainment came out with their dub. Have a limited time to kill the motherfucker before the stage comes to a stop with you literally between a rock and a hard place however if you touch him once, that's an instant kill.

Hilariously enough, I still remember the game's death screams. That shit traumatizes you after you die a million times.

Damn now I wanna play this game again, X-Men Mutant Apocalypse and Spider-Man Maximum Carnage. All of which I don't think I actually ever beat.

I'm going to plug that red cart in today. Honestly though, water stages are just another stage/level to me in whatever game. Only stages I ever disliked and can recall were in 2d games. The ones that were autoscrolling and platform falling stages. I generally play games to an internal beat. Robbing me of that is annoying.

There was an xmen game that started you off with a random character on a snow level, and you could unluck magneto later in the game. That game was excellent.

Between the music, layout, and aesthetics, that level was the first time I realized that video games were an art form.

you are right. I should have said killing each other over shoes, insults, free style battles, mcdonalds job openings, etc. White people have that serial killer shit on lock.

Perhaps you should use your words more carefully. I do agree, the areas in Majora's Mask are spread out somewhat weird compared to Ocarina of Time. However, the locations in Majora's Mask are significantly more detailed than Ocarina of Time.

It is laughable. If playing a song and watching a ten second cut scene is that much of an inconvenience for you then I really don't know what to tell you. Is it because you get warped back to Clock Town? I'm pretty sure you remember the Song of Soaring (and how much more fucking useful it was compared to the warp songs in Ocarina of Time) right?

That had to do with story you say? All right, let's start with our main three characters. Link is his usual silent self so I don't know how much that adds to the game. Ganondorf is also his usual "I am the king of evil, bow down and suck my dick" deranged self. Zelda again his her usual wise and sexy self.

Now for the side characters. The six sages? You interact with them sporadically and they appear in a few sparse cut scenes. The children in the forest? Sporadic interaction as well. Same goes for the Zoras, the Gorons and everyone else in that game. Majora's Mask is pretty much the exact same execution. You interact with new people sporadically and they add a little bit of flavor to the game (just like in Ocarina of Time.)

    Also fuck Kaepora Gaebora.

To tell me that the characters in Ocarina of Time were better evolved than those in Majora's Mask is balderdash.

Whatever floats your boat in this case. I'm not going to try to argue here since this is just pretty much personal taste in story (what little story there is.)

You know those masks in Majora's Mask right? They didn't fall into your inventory menu all by themselves. You kind of had to quest for them. Hell, Majora's Mask has a crapload more side quests than Ocarina of Time. Now if you're referring to the amount of "fun" you had playing these mini games and doing these side quests then that is another thing entirely (I'm just trying to cover all the grounds here.)

Both are great games, MM is not really better than OoT.
Majora's Mask is better than Ocarina of Time in pretty much every way. Your preference is your own thing. Like I said, I prefer Ocarina of Time only because it was the first one I played and I didn't play Majora's Mask until the Gamecube Special disk came out. I can't deny the fact though that Majora's Mask simply is the better game.
