holy fuck, started listening to this and I'm remembering the sound effects from the enemies and shit... one of em made some annoying ass whistle sound. first thing that came to mind, hah.

and I think this was the music for that space level you mentioned... oh man, the memories.

and this played on the 2nd half of the level, I don't remember if it actually played for the final boss like it says here though... maybe it did, I dunno.

fuck that shiar level. oh man, i used to always play as nightcrawler, and my friend would pick wolverine. unstoppable rage + hax teleporting = good times. but i'd try to teleport us further in the level and end up spacing us.

rofl, nightcrawler was hax in that game... I remember we used to bypass half of certain stages like the one where you have to hit the reset button, which was actually one of the most puzzling moments in video games for me.
I really didn't want to reset the game since we made it so far, felt like the game was trolling me

nightcrawler and wolverine had to be the best combo in that game, regardless of that we'd play nightcrawler/gambit... summoning archangel and storm every chance we got hah

iceman summon was pretty much only for when we fucked up like you with the teleports, call out iceman and try to land on his shit if he put it in the right spot then teleport back in the stage haha

Holy shit I'm playing Spider-Man and X-Men and this game is a alot harder than I thought it was fuck man how the hell was I so good at this game as a kid?

Probably put a lot of time into that shit like yours truly, that game was a bitch but I got pretty good at it. I think the only reason I never did beat it was mostly that I'd always get annoyed with it rather than not being able to beat it after a while.
I'm not gonna go try to tackle that shit now though... just not up to the task.
