Something like this is a good idea actually. It's no different than selling to some stranger you don't know. I'd actually be all for a sticky with a game for game thread. As long as both parties trust each other, I see no issues.

it's not really a fair trade.. most people with steam accounts who bought the orange box just gave their hl2 copy away(myself included.) if it works then good on you, but this isnt a fair trade.

i don't know anyone close to me that doesn't own it. Therefor my next best option is trading it away.

I'd consider it more than a fair trade considering all the free mods having the base game brings with it.
