Absolutely can't wait for this game. I remember watching in the late 80's videos my dad had recorded from Group B. I didn't learn to respect them till I got older.

It obviously doesn't have all the old-generation vehicles. But its probably one of the only modern games out there besides GT5 (was utter shit in the rally department) which has a strong listing.

As of today I'm seeing high reviews, hopefully that becomes the standard. I just wish they didn't plaster Ken Block's face all over this game. I guess you gotta relate to the masses when it comes to America :/

I play Dirt2 occasionally on steam with an xbox controller. Game is a lot of fun and can actually be hard, put a good amount of hours into it and you can really pump up the settings which is what I love the most.

I've been debating getting this, but I'm not too sure. I love throwing demanding games at my build @2560x1600, but I'm more afraid I might not put enough hours into this one. None of my friends play, etc.

Well Dirt 3 is completely redone which is why I'm even intrigued. I was a small fan of D2. But there were many aspects missing from it that other games already on the market were offering (physics were severely lacking in 2, in 3 its fresh out the kitchen).

Also the Online looks very fun for time filler. Zombie infection, gymkhana freestyle, also some really nice features like the option to upload clips to Youtube for free (No charge like Bungie Pro n_n).

I absolutely loved Dirt 2, and forgot this was coming out.

......but I have too many games I need to beat right now, so this is gonna have to take a backseat for now.

FM3 is pretty good, has its quirks like GT5 and NFS2.

God that Group B video really brings back memories when I was watching rally championships in Peru back in the 80s. I really am stoked for this game and am definitely getting it on PC since my computer desk is well setup for my DFGT wheel.

In hardcore I think everyone is ghosted to prevent idiots from smashing into you on purpose. I might be wrong though.

Having problems with the DC Drift Showcase 01 (Michigan). Tried almost every possible spec with the car to get the best drifts :/

Picked up the game, love it so far. Liked the drifting and the rally cross events so far even on most advanced difficulty. I thought it might be a bit too arcady but codemasters did a nice job with it. nice all around package so far.

I like the feel that it isn't so much of a "simulator" style. Very simple once you get the hang of it. The most crucial aspect is learning how to tune your car for specific events (you're not going to want to lower your car in Trailblazer/etc.)

But yeah, overall I am EXTREMELY pleased with my purchase. For Codemasters, they did a great job for what was available to them in terms of in house skill.

Favorite vehicles in the game as of right now are;

Audi S1 for Trailblazer
RS200 for Circuit/track
Subaru Impreza GB (Hoonigan lol) for Gymkhana.
Fiesta for easy donuts, etc.

My biggest weakness are the buggies, I just cannot get a grip on them without losing total control.

Hearing mixed reviews, initial reaction good, prolonged reaction not that much content?
