Monster Hunter 3rd HD. Ohhhh man. There goes another few hundred hours of my life. Even though you can import your character, I almost wonder if I'll start from scratch.

Interesting, looks like save game files from the PSP version will be useable... meaning you can bring your hacked gear over from your PSP =P Interesting that they are going to depend on AdHoc Party for online play. I hope that means these aren't going to be crazily overpriced. I definitely won't be paying $60 for these games.

Just means they have to do very little work in bringing it across, when really there's absolutely no reason to since Adhoc Party works great. Hopefully it also means it'll be cross-platform compatible. Should be no reason someone on AHP using a PSP shouldn't be able to play with you on PS3.

Go figure, I finally broke down and bought a PSP last week just so I could play the exclusive rpgs on there, and all the FF remakes. Now most of them well probably be playable on PS3, oh well, haha!

Thank god. There are so many rpgs on the PSP that I just want to sit down and play. I love my psp, but long extended periods are annoying, especially when you are at home with a big tv in front of you. The alternative was to use video out, but your psp is still attacked to the tv which was annoying.

It's all supposed to be cross-platform compatible, or at least that's what they're aiming for at the moment.

Also, going to echo the sentiment on Patapon, I'd love to see that remastered for the PS3, especially Patapon 3. Anything else is icing on the cake, and I'd be willing to bet SE is going to jump on this program like a dog in heat.

Fuck yeah.
I'd love to play MHP3 online without having to run a cable to my PS3 to make AHP work. And MH3 was one of the reasons I got the PS3, nice to finally get it, even if it's not MGS4 quality graphics.
And the cross platform save is great, so I can do a hunt or two while I'm on the bus and have it count.

I'm betting THIS is the reason for the US MHP3 delay, they may release the PSP & PS3 versions simultaneously.

I just hope the built-in Adhoc Party support on it is done internally so I can play the games over WiFi without having to wire up the PS3 like you would if you were using it as a host for the PSP.


But seriously, if Sony is taking the approach on these like PSX games where if you buy it, you can use it on all supported platforms, I'd be all for buying a digital copy off PSN than getting it retail for PSP. Same reason I buy shit on Steam from time to time.

Obviously a Sony marketing card to cover up the current situation. It will indeed redeem itself in the end if they actually hold true to bringing many titles remastered.

I personally would easily buy 5-10 games alone just for the remastered graphics and online.
