Laugher all the way, I miss this show. Can't wait for season 2.

Just got around to watching that...a bit disturbing, a bit painful and a bit awesome, you could almost feel the pain when he got shot there... also the *chants* perv perv perv perv part was awesome (although the little bit after that was like owwww )

I agree with Elcura, it was too damn slow. An entire season for them finally holding hands sounds like they are in the 6th grade or something. I understand the protagonist never had any previous interactions with boys, but hell I don't think I've ever met a girl that shy before when I was in high school. I'm assuming it's part of her "charm" in the beginning, I get it... but her character doesn't even progress at all. "Oh yay I held his hand."

On another note I'm actually reading up about Pachinko machines cause I have no idea how they work. Kaiji is so good that it makes me want to learn more about whatever it is he's playing. :D

Pachinko machines pretty much an upright pinball machine, just with alot more steel balls at once pretty much (and can win/lose depending on your score or whatever else happens). Its pretty big in japan last I was there, like.. a 5-6 story building, every floor had the machines lined up and people on every machine chain smoking/drinking etc

Episode 10 of C was good, just makes me sad if its really going to end at 11 ;/

I'm pretty sure everything will end at episode 11, which is sad because it's been such a great show. Just don't see it going past 11 with what happened in this episode but there could always be OVA or something later.

Really have been enjoying all the anime I've been watching lately. Everything has been good at worst and some have been amazing (C 10 for example). This season certainly has improved.

Wow, that was a great C episode, the series does have me worried about the state of this country's economy though, maybe C is an allusion to China after all lolololol

More nonsense and the staff making fun of the series. Virtual Boy stab was funny and I especially loved the Accelerator and Kihara segment and shoving Kuroko in just for the hell of it.

I do like how Index/Railgun makes fun of itself like that. I think my favorite was they showed what Saten was doing during those few Kuroko/Misaka episodes during the second season of Index. Seeing shows parody themselves is always a plus in my book, even if they don't make me laugh they're still fun to watch.

I am catching up on some of the anime I delayed this season (Denpa Onna first, then Deadman Wonderland). Watched 5-7 today, going to do 8-10 tomorrow. Really haven't enjoyed this show as much as everyone else, but I'll admit the art/animation and music keep the series alive for me. The only character I like is Maekawa and I guess Erio is ok, meaning everyone else is subpar at their best/cutest. The characters are probably my biggest problem with the show; does anyone else have the same problem? Episode 7 was the first enjoyable one of the whole series for me, probably because there was a lot of focus/development on Maekawa and less bullshit on other stuff.

What is the general consensus on Denpa Onna? Am I the only grumpy Gus on the series or do you all think it's mediocre, decent, or meh?

I love it, but I ride on shaft harder than most women and gays.

I just can't help but love all the female in the series, and Niwa isn't half as useless as most protagonist of the genre. The animation quality is also pretty amazing.

I actually quite like it as well, although I think this is my first time watching something from shaft.
I'm actually surprised at how many people hate Meme, but she's my favorite character, especially liked the episode that kinda explained why she is the way she is.

Denpa Onna is alright. The art style and animation is lovely, which is what I'm mostly watching it for. I can say it definitely doesn't feel like a comedy, so don't watch it if you want to laugh. The characters I find try too hard to be cute, especially Meme and Ryuushi, Erio actually does a decent job of it. The story itself is nothing special or hugely interesting right now, but that could change and the way Shaft tells a story is at least entertaining.

I too like Denpa Onna, it's not a super great show but it's entertaining and the art/animation is very pretty...which is also mostly what I'm watching it for. I like cute girls, too, though.

Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail EP 5

I've waited a long time for this and it did not disappoint. yeah it was a little slow in bits and pieces, but in retrospect I have to applaud the Staff, they did an excellent job in adding so much depth to the characters, and the relationships between them. I have no idea how are they able to pull off 30 chapters of the manga in 5 episodes and give us such a good conclusion to the Roberta storyline. also I loved the ending credit and the original material in the episode.
