There is something I don't understand. What happened to last episode's time travel? Since they are in the same timeline, should there be 3 Okabe, and 2 machine on the rooftop? Or maybe I should ask in wihch timeline okabe's failed to save kurisu?

If I had to guess, it has to do with all the lines of deviation. Okabe went back on the 23rd episode and his actions probably caused some more divergence from the alpha/beta/whatever timeline. So when he goes back again, it's to another time-line deviation where the Okabe from episode 23 didn't visit.


....I think. I sort of get what I'm saying, but at the same time, I'm confusing myself a little, lol

But what happened with Suzu? I thought she was going to be stuck in Okabe's time line with them since she didn't have enough fuel to get anywhere else.

Okabe ended up changing the future enough by going back the second time to prevent WW3, which resulted in Suzu not having to come back in time to prevent anything. So she ended up disappearing as they went back to the original time

I don't think Okabe's actions on the ep23 trip back to save Makise caused any significant divergence. In fact, ep23-24 finally brought the show full circle. The point of changing the result without changing the past was so that the three week period starting on July 28 would still occur, divergences and all with a final divergence to the SG world line at the end. The entire show as we experienced it is an infinite loop of ~3 weeks' recurrence. Makise dies > Accidental D-Mail > D-Mail experiments/divergence > Mayuri dies > Time leaps > D-Mail nullification > Mayuri saved/Makise dead again > Time machine to fail saving Makise :: repeat. In ep01 we were simultaneously experiencing the events of ep01 and 23. Gunshots from roof, Makise having seen Okabe-23 prior, thinking he was Okabe-01 in the conference, Okabe-01 hearing a man's scream (Okabe-23), Okabe-01 seeing Makise in a pool of blood, Okabe-01 sends first D-Mail. That sequence of events would occur perpetually. When Okabe-23 fails to save Makise it allowed for a future where Okabe-X searches for and discovers a loophole to save Makise without changing the three weeks we experienced in the series. When Obabe-24 (Okabe-23 with the knowledge of how to correctly save Makise) goes back to stage the past to change the future he essentially creates a shunt directing the recurring world line into the SG world line. Okabe-01 still sends the D-Mail setting the 3 weeks' events into motion, but Makise is still alive at the end this time. Confusing enough explanation?

I still don't quite get why his first episode/past self seeing and believing her dead would prevent her from eventually being killed by other means like Mayuri was. Meanwhile, if Russia doesn't get the paper, their own time travel stuff should still seemingly happen if the three weeks were still to happen similarly enough. That'd mean SERN still a possible threat and maybe WWIII not averted after all.

Overall, the memories between worlds bleeding over among the other cast members bothered me. I hated it when it happened in Radiant Historia since it was basically a "THE POWER OF LOVE!" hand wave to simplify a situation he could've probably achieved through multiple leaps.

Also think Daru wound up boinking Moeka.

Changing from line A to B or A to the "steingate" requires a significant events in the world history. Otherwise, it's just a minor fluctuation that will be self corrected by the world. The last jump was suposed to be a significant one, so while it's possible that she get killed again, we can assume that they changed it enough to avoid most of the bad stuff(death, ww3, time traveling stuff).


The reason why he had to fake her death was simple, changing the past is difficult. It's as if the world is rejecting the change whenever they diverted too much from happened in the current timeline. So what he did is change as little possible while trying to have the bigger impact he could possibly have. Why? Because that's how you trick the world and change from one lines to another.

It also crossed my mind that Daru and Moeka ended up together in that scene. I must have spent 5min trying to figure out if Suzuha's hair were a mix of Daru's and Moeka's

Eh, I still feel it's kinda iffy. I guess the movie or whatever hinted at could clear things up some.

What leaned me toward the pairing was Moeka's eyes when she was being pinned down. At first I was leaning toward the girl being Okarin's kid since their eye colors were similar, but she threw a wrench in that plan when things unfolded from Barrel > Taru > Daru were deducted.

Actually, just recalled something else that bothered me, that being his implied age. I know animes and such are notorious for trying to pass young teens as 18+, but this one kinda did it backwards in saying he was 15 or so. Maybe that was just a bad translation from the sub I watched, though. I'd try to put him closer to 20, at the very least.

Mayuri is 16yo, kurisu and okabe are 18yo, and Daru 19yo.

anyone watch blue exorcist? Been watching it and it's freaking awesome, they didn't skimp on anything, story, animation, and I was most impressed with the soundtracks and how they incorporate music like in movies would. It's like FMA+mushishi.

Nothing really, just some promo art of the 2 shows together. It came out before Valentine's Day (why'd I say March?) which explains the chocolates. I think some staff were working on both and just made that as a promo for both shows without much meaning behind it.

Sorry if it got your hopes up because it sounds like I did. Sowwy

I've been watching it and really enjoy it. Not really much to discuss about it though in here lol.

Same here, it's a good show and I'm liking it, but it's pretty simple and straightforward. The characters are surprisingly good and even Shiemi is adorable when she should be so fucking annoying.

Okay, let's go with this subject. Imo, Konekomaru, Shima, and Ryuji are pretty annoying and Yukio's character is dropping a bit for me. Shiemi can be annoying but I've never had a negative opinion of her but I do sometimes with Shura. Angel sucks, I hate him. And Fujimoto is, and always will be, the best character in Ao no Exo.

I haven't been happy with the cast lately. Rin and Shiemi are the only ones I like and Izumo is okay (because her voice reminds me of so many other girls Eri Kitamura has voiced). Yukio was one of my favorites but he's kinda slipped for me and I don't really care for him anymore/like him anymore. And after that, I just don't like the rest of the cast.

I like Ryuji, he's the only one of the three with any talent or balls. The other two annoy me as well (especially Konekomaru, what a piece of shit lol). Shura is more or less fine, she has cool action scenes and big boobs if nothing else. Fujimoto is that teacher with the shaved beard right? The gay one? Yukio had his dumb blonde moment, but apart from that he's fine (and if it should continue, will be fine).

Rin steals the show for me, the way he reacted when Yukio turned Paladin was unexpected and nice. Apart from Konekomaru (and Shima being useless), I don't hate anyone really.

Alternatively, No. 6 has finished. Kind of a gay ending (literally), and overall I'm not sure how I felt about the whole thing. But at least Nezumi and Sion had a good thing going. I still liked it, pacing is all kinds of fucked up though.

I think you were right to say March. Daru is giving out the chocolates so it's a White Day seasonal promo.
