Looks like it since it was giving previews of "next episode" at the end of 12.

Sorry, could someone who has seen Blood-C explain to me what Ker was just on about? I don't feel like wasting my time watching it since it was obvious it was gonna be bad from the start lol.

So, after this week's Mawaru Penguindrum, I kind of thought next week would be the last episode, I was apparently wrong! I didn't realize it was supposed to be 24 episodes. >.> I really have no idea where it is going, and I don't even care anymore. No idea why I like it, or if I even do, but I'm just going to keep watching anyways.

I dunno if I can keep watching Penguindrum enthusiastically. The show is weird and wonderful, and I love the style, but holy shit GIVE US MORE. The pacing of shows in summer is fucking terrible.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. Usagi Drop, Steins;Gate, and Nichijou are the only shows that showed up in the second half of this summer season. Everything else has dropped. Well, not Nekogami but no one else is watching that (love that show, need to find someway to get my neko fix this fall though...)

Why is the backstory in the back of the series? They should've had this fucking week 4 or 5. Would've made Huey a much better character and helped contrast Dalian with Raziel.

Nichijou: Nothing special about the ending besides it being heartwarming and a pleasant way to close out this bizarre comedy series. Wasn't too funny but there were some scenes where I couldn't stop laughing (Nano helping Yukko off the floor, Sakamoto's previous life). Sad to see it go since it was hilarious at times, even if it was hit or miss the entire series.

Hanasaku Iroha: Nothing special either but a great way to end the series. Kinda surprised the way things turned out at the end, thinking there'd be more with Ohana and Ko than we got to see. Very surprised to see the inn actually get closed at the end, I was thinking there'd be some bullshit success story where they magically fix everything and everyone is happy at the end. Better this way with everyone leaving and realizing their dreams elsewhere. I am going to miss that landscaping, scenery, and background art. Absolutely gorgeous and did an excellent job of creating the atmosphere of each scene. That was the most memorable aspect of this anime. Kinda says something about the story and characters though...

I agree with both your points about Nichijou and Hanasaku. It's a shame about Hanasaku though, it started off so strong, and then just got kind of average a few episodes in and stayed there. I enjoyed the series, it's just not one of those "must watch/highly recommended" series for me.

Hanasaku picked up near the end, the middle parts were just completely boring and average though. It wasn't what I expected or wanted from the show originally, but it wasn't horrible and it kept me watching week by week (even if I did stop around episode 18 for a while).

Nichijou was as a lot more heart warming than expected, I lol'd a lot at Miracle Yukko. I don't want the show to end, but it was a great ride all the same.

You hoping for season 2, too? Guess it depends on BD/DVD sells first before we can think about it but there should be enough material for some more episodes.

2nd season would be great, but I don't expect it to sell well enough based on earlier BD sales to get another season. And even if it does, could be like FMP where another season will take like 10 years lol

Weren't the sales pretty atrocious around the half-way point of the anime (or at least the amount of viewers when it aired)? I recall seeing something about it before that the show just wasn't popular in Japan for some reason or another
