Summer 2011 Anime Thread

This show was really underrated..

Just finished this season and still want more. The show was really good though, can't wait to see Kyohei returning as a seki. I might have to pick up the manga. Or not, theres only 14 chapters translated/released? The chapters stop when kyohei, utao, and hibino go to the village for the first time. Not sure if the anime after that was filler or not

I think we all feel duped by the disaster that blood C was. Started off really slowly yet had amazing animation and fight scenes...yet ended up being a steaming pile of vomit and feces blended together storywise. At the very least, the death scenes in the last episode were fucking hilarious. Ill probably DL the BD version of just this episode to see them uncensored.

Amazing fight scenes? I watched ep 1 and I already knew it wasn't gonna be worth my time.

I didn't think it was enjoyable. Typical harem-esque anime that tries to mask itself with humor, action, and a plot...but fails. Now that I think about it, its pretty much almost uses the same plot and execution as Sekerei. The art and animation style were at least unique.

My final thoughts on the Summer anime season (this is incredibly late but whatever). If anyone wants to talk about the Summer anime still, post below but it's kinda late now to talk about things like Steins;Gate, Usagi Drop, and everything else.

Same voice actor and same personality. I'm just basing that off speculation but I'm 100% positive it's him, especially since this anime has been made after xxxHOLiC Rou and would line up nicely with Kobato's timeline. Pretty much anything CLAMP makes is in their universe and they're all connected in one way or another.
