I'm hoping its assets for the dungeons they are sneaking in with this patch. Want to know more about them.

The game has been out for how long? And they are still working on targeting commands? Yea....
Its a new director and they're pretty much rebuilding from the ground up. So yea don't expect any miracle patches with awesome content
Well I got my download done, but have no clue on how to tell where the new models would be (assuming there are any) in the FFXIV Viewer.
The official forums are hilarious.
wow. sweet shit. Couldn't even include return = 0 anima? Come on...
Job list, job list, job list.
Yeah I know, wishful thinking lol.
I took a quick look at some equip/weapons list and maps/jobs/currency and didn't see anything new ;; At least nothing that jumped out as being new
So is the job updates and battle system revision going to be 1.18 and next month?
Battle yes. Jobs no, thats to be added before the summer is over.
Okay I see, so like in the next three~four months then.

I wouldn't expect much from this update even with a 320+MB size. I have missed the last couple updates and checked this update and I am just getting the most recent. I am guessing the size is so large is because it is the previous patches included so that you don't have to repeatedly update to get all past patches as well.
Pre-patch for 1.18 so it won't be so large. This is what I expected. Bring on the 1.18 goodness!
Maybe I'm just full on retard, but could someone really explain this new targetting BS to me? I've read the notes like 3 times and it's only confused me even more.
Final Fantasy XIV - even targeting shit is a challenge. Awwwwwwwww yeaaaaah
Why can't they just bring something like XI's system back? I never heard anyone complain about it outside of Campaign.
I know that SE's engine and UI design doesn't allow for anything outside of MSDOS text commands, but seriously? Does every proposed UI "fix" have to be accessed through backslash? This is seriously some 1984 MUD stuff.
Well when they roll out the new UI that will probably change.
Yes, they did state they were going to add all the new commands to the config menu to toggle via UI.
