Exactly. Stuff like this makes me think that there is nothing that will turn this game around at this point. This reminds me of Warhammer where almost a year after launch, there were still UI bugs and other things hindering the general performance of the game. It was assumed we'd be hearing about expansion talks etc after the first year but instead, they are fixing UI and command bugs. /sigh
Welp... its gonna be a long 2-3 weeks till 1.18.
Apparently the update files aren't big updates being store till next month. They are just making you download the entire patch over for an incremental update.
That increment is the difference between this patch and the last. So about 7 megs? Don't remember what the last one was.
We don't have over a 1GB in files updated since September. We have about 310+/-mb because we keep downloading patches over and over. The +/- indicates the change in sizes between patches.... Thats rather unnecessary.
Kuro, are you using that AV sarcastically?
Hrm what? ;x
Edit: Ohhh avatar. Nope, I actually have hope in Yoshi-P to save the Titanic. lol
I think if they managed to turn this around, hopefully with the job system and battle update, PS3 release will make or break this game in terms of success.
Whatever it reminds you of, the circumstances are as far from each other as can be.
Even if we had gotten something else from this patch, it would have been simply stuff from 1.18 released early.
But why am I even bothering, people obviously need to let out their frustrations and talk about topics that got old half a year ago. Go on.
So PS3 will make or break this game? Hm, intriguing...
god this makes me fearful that this is the ONLY way they can update their pisspoor excuse of an engine, to completely replace LARGE chunks of irrelevant files in one go everytime. So I'm expecting us to have to download those same files over...and over...and over until they fix the awesome sauce that is "Crystal Tools"
There have been 10 and 15mb patches before.
So fear for the worst!
Why, thank you!I can see the burden of carrying the game is weighing heavy on you. I hope you fare well in your good fight!
Targetmode A is for gamepad users, you can only change the target type with the gamepad under A. Targetmode B is for keyboard users, you can use the arrow keys to change the target type. Targetmode C doesn't let anyone change the target type, it will always be set to "All".
