Any quick hints/tips or things to watch out for on both T3 windurst path Voidwatch NMs?
Lowest level mob to check EP to 75-90?
Okay, I thought the same, but he stated he received his information from BG, so I had to inquire further. Thank you for affirming what I had hoped was the actual case...
Well under like the perfect conditions SS would be a little more under certain gearing I guess but yeah.
Lets be honest here what is really the point of this if you really are here to farm relic currency for members what does it matter if they are buying currency, what is the point of being in the group if they can just buy all the currency ?) I would think that the person is commited to their weapon by showing up every fucking day but that's just me
Honestly everything in caps is what I'm seeing just another guy trying to scam the last stages of his relic. I don't see why anybody would want to join it but hey, good luck to you.
As for the flaws I'd consider pretty much all of it flawed.
The post said a few times that the group was to help alleviate the cost of doing a relic. I don't want people thinking this is the only way they will finish; to just get free money from the group. I want them actively buying from bazaars so that it 1. speeds up the relic stage and 2. I know that they are willing to do the extra work in finishing their relic. I know you don't know me but I really am not that type of person. I've never took advantage of any LS I was in; I've never gotten big ticket items and then left the LS soon after. I quit 2010 and came back this month. I find dynamis to be more enjoyable than what it is, the whole staggering thing is exciting when it actually procs. I've been shouting for the past two weeks doing dynamis and had every run succeed with the exception of one run where people argued with me which job they came. Someone insisted that I make a LS for dynamis, and so I am.
Dynamis bastok mega boss ??? is in an area where there are no other mobs around. Which of the other zones are like this, and which of them have the mega boss ??? surrounded by mobs?
There any cheap/quick ways to skill up magic skills (everything, healing/divine/enfeeb/singing/string/wind/etc.)?
If you can perform an offensive action with it, just acting on mobs is best. For Enhancing, trying to spam protect on beseiged generals should (spell must take effect) be decent until the mid-80s on RDM (can't speak for anything past that). Healing would involve curing undead. BRD skills, if you can lullaby a worm, just sleep it, spam threns, resleep, repeat. Divine kind of sucks since most of the spells have longer timers. I only recently got PLD to 90, so I'm not sure if spamming Enlight for a while is a good means to get it to 341. If you can have people tank for you in Abyssea, set MACC atmas, as I feel like skill ups come more frequently when things are unresisted.
Speaking of PLD, I'm looking to throw together some PDT/MDT sets. I know, lolPLD, but I've also been chipping away at Almace for my BLU and RDM, so only seemed natural. Just poking around, I've come up with the following:
PDT set
Dark Ring (6%)
(r.ear)
Versa Celata +1 (3%)
Twilight Torque (5%)
Grim Cuirass (5%)
Melaco Mittens (3%)
Metallion Mantle (4%)
Nierenschutz (3%)
Creed Cuisses +1 (3%)
Askar Gambieras (2%)
(r.ear)
Dark Ring (6%)
Total: 40%
Rings I still need to actually get, and ideally they'd also be 6% for the following MDT set. I know boots could go up to 3% with other options, but trying to preserve some inventory and Askar doubles in MDT set, too. Hard to just an ear slot for 1%, but might go for Colossus's. Ein isn't an option at the moment for Valhalla Helm. Either way, if I wanted to make a PDT sword, I'd exceed 50 with the above. Obviously I could cut corners using a Terra's Staff for whatever reason. Just wondering if there's something else I'm missing or just going about this all wrong.
MDT Set
Shellra V (27%)
Dark Ring (6%)
Merman's Earring (2%)
Neosis Helm (4 MDB)
Twilight Torque (5%)
Avalon Breastplate (5%)
Medb's Gauntlets (3 MDB)
Lamia Mantle +1 (4 MDB)
Nierenschutz (3%)
Coral Cuisses +1 (3%)
Askar Gambieras (2%)
Merman's Earring (2%)
Dark Ring (6%)
Total: 34% MDT + 27% Shellra, +11 MDB
Could add another +5 MDB from shield and another +2 from Lamian Kaman+1, but I figure those could vary depending on what I'm doing.
And more in general, ideal enmity set?
Souleater testing. Anyone know where it is? Iirc, it was originally here on BG, but I can find all of none of it.
Is mdt still capped at 50% for non-aegis folks? Or has update allowed you to surpass it? Or is it only applicable to aegis owners?
