MDT still caps at 50% aside from Aegis.
Get Jingang Greaves, seeing as you're way overcapped on MDT in that kit. AF3+2 body has up to 10%? -DT depending on hate. Can get -2% earrings from Scattered Shells, Scattered Mind in Abyssea - Vunkerl. +2 legs obviously. You can actually hit 52% without Valhalla Helm or a PDT sword iirc.
Oh, Oneiros Barbut also has 5% PDT. So you can actually go to 54% np, drop the earrings if you have enough hate to use AF3 body or keep them in if you're rocking Grim.
MDT: Rings will be ~8-12%, Torque 5%, waist 3%. That leaves 3-7% to cover with other gear, then MDB from there. Fill it based on what's available to you. Wlegs can be augmented with MDB, for what it's worth.
What is the minimum B. haidate augment(s) where you would begin using it to WS Blade:Hi over ambusher's hose in abyssea?
5 AGI/4% critdmg wasn't enough to put them ahead last I checked, even on relatively evasive Heroes content where the 15 DEX would at least have some sort of impact.
Is there any reason to get a gandiva over an armageddon for a RNG?
Um, why can I d.box deliver R/EX items?
Seem to be abyssea drops?
Shaolin Cape on my mule without abyssea
COR seems to have access to more mab gear, as well as fireshot. Hopefully SE will fix Dead Aim to make it work on WS as well...hopefully.
Bumping this. Any help would be awesome. How could I get a combination of autoexec and spellcast to switch my tp neck when shadows drop from Rancor to Iga Erimaki, but then switch back as soon as shadows are back up?
Autoexec:
Spellcast:Code:<register event="gainbuff_Copy*" silent="true">input /ma "Tornado" <t></register> <register event="losebuff_Copy*" silent="true">input /ma "Tornado" <t></register>
From there, something like:Code:<if spell="Tornado"> <if buffactive="Copy*"> <var cmd="set DDNeck Rancor Collar" /> </if> <else> <var cmd="set DDNeck Iga Erimaki" /> </else> </if>
Code:<if spell="trigger spells"> <if status="engaged"> <equip when="precast" set="$Melee" /> </if> <cancelspell /> <return /> </if>
Thank you.
Gandiva - Easily the strongest bow for RNG. In abyssea, lets you use critical hit abyssites to improve your dot, as well as ws damage. Outside, you'll probably be constantly getting yourself killed with it.
Armageddon - Best brew ws in the game, probably the top gun for COR in the game. For RNG, it's a little bit lackluster in abyssea. If you want your WS to actually do good damage, you have to use Fire+/MAB atmas, which don't help your dot at all, and it still ends up being weaker than jishnu's. Outside abyssea, it's a decent weapon, damage should be decent, and ws is lower hate, but I'm not sure if it will outperform Slug on RNG, as I haven't bothered testing it yet. Annihilator is most likely a much better choice if you want to go that way. For COR, though, as I said, it's great, fire shot and vulcan's staff ftw.
edit: Dead aim doesn't work on WS? Damn, hm, well, I don't think knowing that will be effecting my WS set for Jishnu's, anyway.
Just a few Abyssea #'s I remember off the top of my head:
Jishnu: 3~5k, red/yellow curry buns, RR/GH/Sea Daughter, 5~8k with minuets, on the exp dolls, haven't gotten to play with it much on other stuff, but #s shouldn't be too different.
Wildfire: Constant 3.5k, Smoldering Sky/Ultimate/Sea Daughter on RNG, 5k+ on COR when also /rdm + blm roll
So you shouldn't ever get a gandiva on RNG? Since RNG has no use in abyssea, and you'll kill yourself 24/7 on the best thing you want rngs for outside(vwnms)?
If you're going to go that far, why bother with RNG at all, since RNG isn't an optimal dd job for.. anything really. Get an Ukon and be forever a warrior.
My question was more "is gandiva worth getting at all, or is it completely useless?".
If you want to put out the biggest numbers possible on ranger, then yes, it is.
So in real game situations it's not worth the time/effort to get, and it's just a luxury/fun item?
