Rng useless in abyssea wut?
RNG is good outside of abyssea I thought for voidwatch.
It's great for voidwatch, gandiva isn't though, it gets you killed.
@ Kannagi I actually feel like ninja has gained almost nothing outside abyssea since 75 besides 2 more shadows and a few debuffs/buffs. Feels like a below average DD and weak tank still :/
I haven't played mine enough outside though, and the NIN's I've seen have been pretty bad though..

Ninja hasnt gained much outside and actually hast lost since 75. They no long have /drk for hate spells and their acc isnt well enough to be able to tank through DD
Yeah NIN isn't a tank, and is a subpar DD with random enfeebles, it doesn't really have a use outside. I can't wait for all the bandwagon NIN's to go away again : x
It's going to be MNK, SAM, DRK. I'm not sure why WAR is never really bandwagon, it's always been a great job.
Don't forget about the current mage band wagon. BLM and WHM are BLU oh my. SCH, RDM, SMN are to an extent BRD all 'useless' now.

Really, any job that is useful/efficient is going to be bandwagoned.
Well it's obvious a lot of mage jobs are going to be useless when you design classes around debuffing mobs buffing players and refreshing, then create NM's/mobs that are so weak you don't need debuffs, and give everyone insane buffs/infinite MP so you don't need refresh or buffs. All the main buffer/support jobs(RDM, BRD, COR) are amazing and great outside abyssea, kind of required again in a way.
I'm not sure what the devs were thinking when they created abyssea in a game with jobs that offer nothing but pure support and buffs. :/
Not even going to get into the proc system, but at least they admitted "OOPS WE FUCKED UP LULZ!" when it comes to that and designed dynamis/vwnm staggers differently.

NIN can still /DRK, anyone who thinks this is somehow nerfed because of a few spells is crazy. It's still not a PLD, and it's still a lot more work to support, but considering even without a GHorn you can get 13MP/tick + 27-28%haste with a RDM and BRD that's more than you ever got BEFORE it was nerfed at Lv75. That's more than enough time for you to go halfway through the ninjitsu spells, cast stun, other half, stun, go through the /DRK spells, and cast stun again and never run out of mp.
Why you would use it, I don't know.
As for RNG, there's a lot of hate for a job anyone who has played for 8 years probably has leveled and retired. I'd really like to see it back to where it was, especially considering its extreme usefulness in AoE heavy HNM (and now voidwatchers) situations. This would probably only exacerbate the issue RNG has with hate management, but yeah. Those were fun times. (If we're talking about Abys only, then yeah, fuck RNG, proc and kill)
