Can anyone tell me what the stat "Refresh +1" means? I see ppl talking about the hairpin that gives this stat, but I can't find info on what it does or means.
Thx

Call SE, be firm but insistent that you need to talk to a supervisor, explain to the supervisor that you pay for two accounts and got autobanned for moving gil. If you're lucky, you might get your account back. Navigating SE's shit customer service is more a test of luck and endurance than correctness, though.
Refresh +1 is 1MP/tick Refresh, like Dalmatica.
That and usually any time it gets reversed someone knows someone at SE. That being said, if you were put under suspension due to what you said, RMT activities, I think there is a chance because they often do that if you're NPC'ing shit a lot and whatnot. I don't really know what the flags are but reading what others posted its basically doing anything that involves getting gil, being leveled from new account quickly, not having quests, gardening, etc. It's pretty random and it seems like there's no real human assessing anything.
Leveling to 30 should take 5h, can either pay money to leech, have your LS cleave you, or hope for a PT at that point.
My THF already has a Twashtar, would making a Mandau as well be a bad choice?
I assume it has some fairly good uses, but not sure where it excels.
Good off-hand at all?
Didn't do any gardening, was working on quests. I did NPC a lot (lots of chocobo blinkers). It was also leveled up pretty fast, leeched 3 jobs to 90 with cataclysm on my main whm, solo. The leveling isn't the real loss, that just takes time. 30 mil worth of gil and alexandrite lost though... that sucks. Thanks for the responses, nice to know not to expect much from SE.
Thx much Rocl :D
Anyone else have problems with JP players who just refuse to group up for magian trials, when you're both doing the same trial and benefit equally? Most of the time they don't even reply at all and completely ignore me :/
That's silly, I don't care if they only stay for a while, that's a few more kills I get to kill at double speed! Sometimes I'll start a new trial, team up with other players, see a JP, he refuses to team up, finish my trial, then an hour later they'll still be out there doing their trial.
There's a JP on Odin that told Aurara he couldn't team up with his group for Magian trials because he wasn't JP. JP Onry! I've only I've only encountered maybe one JP that wouldn't team up for trials. I say maybe because it's possible he missed my tell but it's possible that he was just flat out ignoring me. Other than that, I've partied with plenty of JPs that are willing to team up and had no problem leaving once their {report} was finished.
I did have a JP kick me from the party for being AFK. We (6 randoms) were in Grauberg_S waiting for wind so I went to do the dishes but changed the TV to something to watch while I did so. When I came back I was without a party. I checked my log and they killed 4 mobs before giving me the boot. He re-added me when I sent him a /tell saying {I'm Back!}.
JPs definitely seem less inclined to let you leech kills. Personally, I dont give a shit because magian trials are such a grind. If someone/people want to goto bed while I'm still camping they can leech all the kills they want. This especially applies for lottery NM spawns.
I've never really had JP issues on Shiva. Most of them are extremely polite, at least to me.
As far as trials go, every JP I've been with for them had the same mindset as me. If my party member goes AFK, kicking them isn't going to make my trial any faster, and it's just rude. I may as well benefit the both of us.
The only reason I would think otherwise, is if the person literally joins the party to sit around and leech the whole trial.
I've actually had a friend who partied with a JP for the Megalobugard trial, and got 2 kills while AFK. Basically, he was AFKing on/off waiting for repops, and when the NM did pop those two times, he was not back just yet, returning about a minute or less after it's death. The JP he was with was nice enough to make sure he had the weapon on and was not out of range.
Based on this page: https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Sublimation
I get the impression that "Enhances Sublimation" gear is just barely worthwhile for a high level Scholar.
For instance, say that you have 1200 HP. If you use no "Enhances Sublimation" gear, you'll lose 300 HP and charge 1050 MP (2HP/tick for 7MP/tick). It takes 150 ticks to charge and 10 ticks to reuse, for a total of 300HP/1050MP/160 ticks. +6.56 MP/tick, -1.875 HP/tick
If you have 1200 HP and use 4 "Enhances Sublimation" pieces, you lose 6HP/tick and gain 11MP/tick, to charge 550MP for 300HP. It takes 50 ticks to charge, and 10 ticks to re-start the charging process, for a total of 300HP/550MP/60 ticks. 9.16 MP/tick, -5 HP/tick
I can understand not letting people leech, but these people flat out refuse to party with me, or don't respond at all. I can message them multiple times and they still won't say anything to me, it drives me crazy.
I know MNK is cool and all, but would I be able to dual-box my Almace/Ochain/+2 items with a 90 PLD and a 90 WHM (or RDM, or BRD)?
I have friends that play, but they're all 30-ish and I'm the only 75+ (PLD). I was wondering if I should finish PLD up to 90 and work on my girlfriends WHM, RDM or BRD and hopefully get myself an Almace/Ochain and +2's. And if that's possible, eventually (when they get high enough), get my friends their weapons/+2's. Possible?
I'm a big fan of JP's, love them. I do everything I can to assist them in game when they act like JP's. My love of them comes from playing this game when it was released, and their super friendly attitudes towards us. I know I know, things have changed since then, and we all found out they apparently don't love us and would prefer their own servers and whatnot and it's our fault for being lesser beings and that we as non JP's are the only ones who stereotype and all that.
Sarcasm aside, during my H2H trials I was told "No thanks" when I asked to team up for the NM trials. I might have claimed all of them solo 4 times in a row and warped. This was only once though, usually they are more than willing to team up.
Sublimation is funny, in that the MP it creates will always be 25% of your HP, save for merits, which add a flat 50 MP to the limit, the Sublimation buff just made it charge faster, as does gear. So it becomes:
1200 HP, no merits. The old style of 2 HP = 2 MP means 300 for 300, the new style of 2HP = 7 MP means you lose ~88 HP for 300 MP. ~45 ticks to charge, 10 to reuse. Total of ~88HP/300MP/45 Ticks. Gear just makes it faster at the cost of more HP. I'm awful at math though, so it might be barely worthwhile. Just making sure you knew the MP capped at 25%, not the HP loss. It's worded funny.
Oh, okay! Thanks for clearing that up.
1200 HP = 300 MP with no gear = 43 ticks and 86 HP lost, 10 ticks before you can put it back up makes +5.66 MP/tick and -1.62 HP/tick
With 4/4:
1200 HP = 300 MP with no gear = 28 ticks and 168 HP lost, 10 ticks before you can put it back up means and +7.89 MP/tick and -4.42 HP/tick
So you gain 2 MP/tick, but have to use the JA more often and lose the potential benefits of other pieces in those slots. For instance, AF3+2 body, Owleyes, and Refresh Pin would be better in every situation. The only one of those four options that's ideally worth using is the AF3 earring.
