People have been claiming that Third Eye has a greater chance to wear off the longer it has been on... forever. Where is the proof?
If I was a betting man, I'd bet that it's just a static ~2/3 chance to anticipate and ~1/3 chance to wear off.
Question answered, nevermind
whats the new cap on fast cast? has it been tested yet?
There has never been any actual testing, it's just been obvious from usage. If I was inexperienced as SAM I would completely take that same bet as well, so I don't blame you. All I gotta say is wait until a MNK NM with High Acc against you (capped for best results) to use Hundred Fists and use Third Eye when it starts punching you. Most of the time you'll ancitipate a good 10+ times at the very least before it wears off. If memory serves, going 20+ anticipates on Monks in dynamis wasn't uncommon back when I did dynamis religiously for my Amano. At least, whenever they lived that long early on in our LS's career. This should also work with a huge train of mobs on you, so I would assume abyssea should be a good testing ground for this that was never available years ago when Seigan was introduced. SAM w/ Apoc Atma should be able to show the relationship clearly.
Edit: This is all assuming Seigan acts the same when SAM main as it does when subbed... I have no experience whatsoever using Seigan with /SAM so I can't tell if it's nerfed(scaled) like Hasso's STR gain is.
80%: https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Fast_Cast
Also, I've been going WAR/SAM and Seiganing off and on since Seigan was introduced. I've seen no real evidence that the odds of Third eye dropping is proportional to how long it has been up. If there has been math done on it, then I'm willing to accept it. If there hasn't been math done on it, I'm going to assume people are confusing "I've been hit more times" with "it has been up longer."
I believe cure cast time, elemental celerity, etc count towards the same cap.
Okay thanks
Do Helm of Briareus stack? If so, what do they stack to?
12 like every empyrean item <.>
So I just went out to altepa.
Spoilered for hueg:
Spoiler: show
I count 33 ancitipates in that one. This is my first attempt. Log order is a little misleading since I was training mandragoras, who have two attacks per round so it is delayed in log. Despite the order of actions shown, all those anticipations are with one single TE activated within one second of the onslaught.
Will do a few more.
Edit: Been getting 20+ every time. Unfortunately I've been sucking at getting more than 10 mandragora on me at once. People here are killing/cleaving them so I'm not getting the massive trains I'm hoping for.
Edit2: TE that has been active for ~25 seconds is wearing off on the first hit of the attack round every time so far. If I go long enough I may see it lasting 2 hits, going to try to keep trying until I see ~25TE last more than one.
Edit3: Anticipate count ranged from 8 to 35 with a fresh TE against a train of mandragoras of varying numbers, and I couldn't get TE to last more than 1 anticipation after being active for 25 seconds without taking a hit. I did about 10 repetitions of each. Sorry it's not more or more scientific/exact, but I really don't care to keep doing this to narrow down exact anticipation rates at varying TE active lengths. Seems overwhelming and I don't think anyone would really care to narrow it down. Just wanted to illustrate the principle.
4 dex 4 agi 2% crit dmg 2% WS dmg would be the best WS helm augment for NIN from moogle right?
So, I used latent checker to check my spear of trials, I was @244 so I decided I would use it on drg to proc raiden and get points. A week later, I re checked it and I have the same amount of points. Is there something wrong with the latent checker or was I doing something wrong to get points? lol
When do we not have 95% acc?
Like I said, I know for mnk WSacc + WSdmg is the way to go. I think the critdmg falls behind because you arent going to crit every hit, unless you have atmas set up to crit 100% of the time (not 100% what atmas nin needs to reach 100% crit and gear)
If you ever plan to use NIN for anything outside of abyssea, im sure the wsacc will pull further ahead.
Trying to determine the best head pieces for the following: CDC, Blade: Hi, Victory Smite. If Anwig (which I think it is for perhaps all of them), which Augments for each? Thanks in advance.
