Havent looked at Atma for quite the long time. What are the best sets for BLM, BST and lolPLD?

BLM I seem to recall being Ultimate, Beyond and Mini, right? What of BST and PLD?

Well for atma its really situational but I think for bst the pet dmg taken- and any form of MDT you can, for pld Id say if you have an almost capped MDT/PDT build go for hp+ and maybe some refresh? Otherwise may want to put on some MDT, I've heard good things about the occasionally annuls damage atmas as well.

It really varies on your goal as well, like for farming you want aggresive atmas to kill weak mobs fast, but for, say, a fire based NM you want the fire resist atma or something.

For sure you at least want auto RR atma for pld though I gaurentee that.

As it stands, I wouldn't go anywhere near WoE, especially not for the dagger. There is a chance they might boost it by adding more magian trials at a later date, but I wouldn't bank on that at all.

Get an Angr harpe or Phurba if you need the higher base damage, emphasis on the latter.

PLD with refresh,MDt,reraise atma yes? for what? Barring it's some completely crap set it has no logic at all. You want to be a non killable PLD with refresh and capped PDT/MDT (no comment at MDT atma needed to cap MDT...) and Reraise ? You want to pull Imps for cleave or something?

PLD should be treated as any other DD tank (ofc it's much weaker dd). W/o Almace/Ochain I wouldn't even use it anywhere. If you want to play it for fun go with RR/Apoc and SS or GH.

Wondering about how to HQ1-3 synergy augments, so far from what I can gather:

1. perfect alignment
2. 0% impurities
3. whack furnace?

I have done 1&2, and mostly all I get is HQ1, what's the secret with hq2/3? Anything I should do? Thanks.

Some combination of MM/RR/Apoc with GH/SS swapped in as appropriate.

Easy to get swords: Mageblade (easily solo) Isador (need some help, at least with Blue!! If you brew it).

OA2-4 is probably not so useful, the DA version relies on some T3 VNMs though, so although it's better, it's also a pain to get (you'll likely need help).

Nvm it's the OAT that has Ruthven. Do the DA if you make one, but it's a lot of grinding either way.

If you have enough inventory space just buy tools for ele wheel and you can stagger everything with dnc/nin. Best place in Windurst is J-6 crossroad. You can pull many mobs there from 3 sides and there are 3 NMs there close to each other and one is a MNK.

Excalibur is very welcomed now outside abyssea on Dynamis NMs when you pDIF is really low (unless its PDT, someone checked this?) but inside it's completely destroyed by Almace.

No, oa2-4 is terrible. Isador, second str sword, DA sword are all good options.

My wife recently hit 90 MNK and it's about time we got her a Black Belt. The last time I remember doing KS99s was at 75 and I only ever did Wyrm so I'm not very familiar with the fights at 90 now. What kind of setups am I going to need to get/how many people do these fights even need at 90? NQs? HQs? (If we ever get pops for those har har)

For reference, I've got BLM, RDM, SCH, WHM, DNC, DRG, BLU and SMN, and she's got DNC, DRG, MNK, PLD, SMN, WHM. All are fairly well-geared considering we haven't had an endgame linkshell for about 6 months now and have just been duoing (sometimes trioing with other people) anything we've wanted to kill. Exception would be my BLU, haven't really gotten around to seal hunting for it much. Duoing works in abyssea, dunno how well it'll work outside for these. Any tips would be appreciated.
