Well Im right at the split between WoE dagger and Empyrean is what I mean, is the WoE path complete shit and better to just keep the uncompleted dagger until I have time to finish it, or at this point is finishing down WoE path not a terrible idea?

Edit: And I use harpe for physical wsing and TP bonus dagger for AE

I have the WoE version of the dagger for my thf mostly; got it before people figured out how easy it was to kill NMs for the emp version (was getting woe greatsword coins and no one was lotting the dagger coins in our group; by the time I finished the gs, I was about three away from finishing dagger). I don't regret the dagger as much as I do the gs though (least woe gs is easier to x-hit?... ). I'm pretty lazy and getting glavoid sets can be a pain, a pain I don't want to inflict on my little group as well.

If you can wait on it, may as well wait until you can deal with an emp.

Can someone remind me how the billing cycle works? I'm home for the summer and only have a limited amount of time to play and do not want to pay for an extra month.

From my understanding, if I reactivated my ID on May 31st, I would be billed for the entire month of May in addition to all of June.

If I waited and reactivated on June 1st, I would be billed for June only and when the end of the month comes, July gets billed?

Has it been proven that staggers in Dynamis improve relic armor drop rate, and not just currency? The utter failure of my past three runs has given me the notion that staggers may be unrelated to relic armor drop rates, but I wanted to see if it had been confirmed before I start speculating out the ass.

From my experience I can almost guarantee that !! has nothing to do with af2, as the drop rate is ridiculously high with or without !!.

Ok, so planning to retake out my SAM, sooner or later will get a Masmune since the path is so easy to do but till then, what GKT should I use? Was thinking of the gkt from the cerb in altepa. Was thinking of getting then tpbonus+100 gkt but I did the STP one long ago and annoyed I cant back track on the trial and dont really care to start it over.

Was looking to 5 hit the one from cerb but some times seem to give me to much TP such as using af3+2 legs and af3+1 body so is there anything better to use than those really?

You can 4 hit that one but need some sacrifices on WS.

it kinda depends if you are in abyssea or not, because of huge spike in STR from cruor/zone/atma

I made this mostly for fun in abyssea. With TA you can self SC right away and maybe even do some 5-6 WS SCs :D

My wife recently hit 90 MNK and it's about time we got her a Black Belt. The last time I remember doing KS99s was at 75 and I only ever did Wyrm so I'm not very familiar with the fights at 90 now. What kind of setups am I going to need to get/how many people do these fights even need at 90? NQs? HQs? (If we ever get pops for those har har)

For reference, I've got BLM, RDM, SCH, WHM, DNC, DRG, BLU and SMN, and she's got DNC, DRG, MNK, PLD, SMN, WHM. All are fairly well-geared considering we haven't had an endgame linkshell for about 6 months now and have just been duoing (sometimes trioing with other people) anything we've wanted to kill. Exception would be my BLU, haven't really gotten around to seal hunting for it much. Duoing works in abyssea, dunno how well it'll work outside for these. Any tips would be appreciated.

MNK/WAR + WHM/RDM. If your wife has Twilight Torque + some MDT dark rings, I'd recommend using those, but they are not necessary. Meteor is 25 yalms centered on the target. When it starts casting, make sure she has full HP then get 25 yalms away from her (not entirely necessary but it saves MP.) Also use Perfect Counter during Meteor casts. It does a 'death Meteor' right before it dies (instant cast.) Throw a Cure V/VI on her then GTFO when its low HP so you don't die to it (MNK/WAR HP + Cureskin can survive it solo, but your WHM will probably die.) Behemoth is a joke, don't even really need a strategy. King Behemoth is easier than the BCNM. Use the same strategy, just no death Meteor.

The Hills are Alive

The fewest I recommend is 4 BLM, although it may be possible with 3 if they're all super well geared BLM. The fight begins when its out of the shell. Do Bind > Silence > Gravity > time nuked Blizzard IV. That should instantly put it into its shell and do a lot of damage. You need to then follow this with a timed Blizzard V. 4x Blizzard V landing at approximately the same time will pop it out instantly. It's important that you set a time and don't just go 'right after Blizzard IV' as a few Blizzard Vs over a few seconds will not pop it out of the shell while 4x at the same time will. Either way, when its out you can Aspir/Aspir II it while you kite it around getting MP back and such. Use Bind if necessary. When Silence wears off (wait for it to wear so you can apply it freshly,) repeat this entire process until it's dead. Should maybe take 10 minutes with 4 BLM, maybe less idk. Don't bother with any skillchain crap, it's not worth the trouble (especially if you're doing these with a pick up group, which it sounds like you will be.) Adamantoise is easy, I have no idea how few Aspi can be done with (could probably be done in a similar way with your wife clearing random mobs in the area on MNK.)

There are many strategies already posted in the last few pages of this thread. DNC + BLM might be able to duo it. Melee (save all TP) it until it flies then nuke the crap out of it while DNC waltzs to stay alive. If you can ground it on one MP pool, then it's probably possible.

What is the normal atma setup? Not for whiskering or anything like that. (No empyrean)
What are some good swords to use until STR Shamshir/OA2-4 Sword (Those are the best non empyrean right?)

I prefer MM/VV/RR or VV/RR/Apoc, depending on MP needs. Do STR/STR or DA/STR, not OA4. Isador is also useful.

I started a new character recently (66 RDM on Bahamut) and had a quick question regarding AF quests.

If I've started Boghertz's Vermillion Hands, do I have to finish it in order to find AF in other coffers? The RDM quest has you go to Eldieme, which sucks solo, even at 66. I'd like to still get the Tabard and Tights though, is this possible?

If you activate May 31st, you will be billed June 1st for both May and June.

If you activate June 1st, you will be billed July 1st for both June and July.

However, I activated in the last couple days of a month one time, and when I got charged for a full month even though it was just a day or 2, I called SE and they gave me a free month.
