They have to be on for each hit that's charging Restraint, but not for the WS that uses the charge.

Bought the FFXI Ultimate Collection, fresh reinstalled on my computer, apparently it comes with all the expansions. Anyone know if that comes with the pre-Abby add-ons? For the augmentable head, body and legs? If so, can I use it on my current character?

Yes. Just use the universal key code provided in the manual to unlock the expansions through PlayOnline. It will work fine.

How can I lock my gear set to "elemental" when chainspell is active with spellcast?

Never heard of set locking (And I believe I was told it's impossible when I asked). You need to do notBuffactive="Chainspell" for idle/fastcast sets.

My question: Does elemental seal conflict with BA still? If not, is it known to only affect the target of a spell and not others around the mob? I know ES spells have a chance to resist, but I had 2 mobs in a small pack resist. Since it was Earth Dy and the spell was charged whiskers, there's a few cases to draw from this (Some more interesting than others).

1. ES doesn't affect AoE targets (I doubt this is the case given the extensive use of ES + Sleepga II in some BCNM strategies).

2. This was just an incredibly rare case of double resists.

3. Weather(?) and Dy detriments bypass normal resistance mechanisms.

Edit: Just happened again, so perhaps Earth detriment is not the cause.
