I generally toss atma of the ambition on as 3rd. It was rare, but very occasionally I'd start running low on mps on whm with only MM refresh wise. Otherwise depending on your cure pot setup atma of the rescuer or atma of the harmony can be decent choices to cap you at 50%. Then again if they're easy targets you can throw on something like atma of the sea daughter and help with red procs.

It's probably easier to do it as NIN+WHM as you have Migawari to eat the lances.

Most times I take BRD out to abyssea is to proc yellow, so I use MM and 2 magic acc atmas (Ultimate, Merciless Matriarch). Sometimes I go /thf for ghetto TH, so I swap out MM for Dread.

If you feel like you're doing fine with the magic acc, replace them with Deep Devourer and either Camaraderie or Blighted Breath.

Deep devourer, dread (if possible), voracious violet (i prefer this over sea daughter because of the slow). I typically use VV and/or Dread on WHM along with MM. Sometimes I use my mule to pull for AoEs so 3 regen atmas can be handy for that (mounted champ, vicissitude, stronghold, impenetrable)

It's not the 3k lances that kill you, it's the 5k ones. The longer the fight goes, the stronger those lances become. If you're dead set on monk tank, bring in someone who has brd for Scherzo. It's not a guaranteed win though even then. Thing to keep in mind though is that both Lance and the move which increases Lance's strength (Damsel Memento? The one that heals Ixion) can't be used without TP. After a particularly nasty Lance which happened between Scherzo castings, a friend on monk successfully held Indrik until he unweakened by going full evasion and minimizing the tp Indrik received.

If you're /thf, dread, if you need to proc stuff, VV, otherwise I just toss on another refresh atma.

Reformatted my computer and it's been so damn long since I've had to install windower that I forgot how it works. Do I need anything to make it play nicely with the Steam version of XI? I swear that was the version I had installed before, but now Windower is saying something about either my registry is corrupt or XI isn't installed. Or do I need to to have some non-steam version entirely? If so, any suggestions for a working torrent, everything I've skimmed so far is 1-2 seeders, at best.

It works fine, you sure you downloaded the newest version and copied everything properly? Dunno what's the cause might be.
